He holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University and completed a residency in geriatrics and primary care at the West Los Angeles VA Healthcare Center. He serves as the residency coordinator for Azul Vision's ocular disease residency program and is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University.

Very pleasant experience as always. DR Villegas is wonderful. Took me in for exam right on time. Took a number of test for a complete exam. The technician was great, explained each test and results. Very happy with entire process.
