The office staff was thorough and pleasant. The doctor didn't wash his hands when he entered the room nor did he wear gloves. As he examined my left eye, his hand touched my lips so I moved my head thinking he would get the hint but when he examined my right eye, touching my lips again, I told him to get his hands off my lips. He did apologize but this is completely unacceptable. Again, he didn't wash his hands, he's touching the devices, paper, pen, etc. The eyes are extremely delicate and best practices should be maintained to prevent infections, etc. When the staff member gave him the results from my eye exam as they crossed paths in the hallway, he loudly said, "That's all she can do", after I was unable to read beyond a certain line. When doing the eye exam, he stated for me to say 1 or 2 but when I didn't respond in that manner, he raised his voice and said, "1 or 2!" I maintained my composure but his demeanor is very brash. I only visited his office because I couldn't get an emergency appointment with my doctor. This was my first and last visit with Dr. Loeb.
