I contacted Dr. Shah’s office on 06-21 in attempt to schedule a new patient appointment. The receptionist first hung up right after saying “hello” once before I was able to respond. Then I called back and she kept quiet a couple of minutes without any explanation or a simple “please hold”. She then told me, “First available appointment is on 08-06 at 1:30.” When I told her this won’t work, she just hung up. What is with private practice and their rude staff? People who go to doctors need at least empathy and not to deal with rudeness. You never know what the patient is dealing with to add negativity to their day. I wouldn’t go to this doctor because of his rude staff. There is always another good doctor somewhere else.

Dr. Shah was clearly not interested in treating my eyes. A few years ago, I was a patient of Dr. Vidor, a very kind , caring doctor. He treated me like every patient wishes to be treated, with kindness and respect. Even though the patient may not generate a lot of business for the practice, I believe they still deserve to be greeted with a smile and welcome. Dr. Shah didn’t.

Dr. Shah did perfect cataract surgery on my eyes and wow, what a difference. He’s the most caring doctor I’ve met and so extremely kind. More than him, his staff is just as friendly and hold your hand through the entire process. Nobody wants to have surgery on their eyes, but when And if you do, this is a place to go.

I have no idea what these other people are talking about with a bad review. Dr Shah is the best, most attentive ophthalmologist I’ve ever seen. He is patient, attentive, very progressive and very cutting edge.
