Dr. Samuel Overstreet

I have been seeing Dr. Overstreet for a few years with good results, and he is a nice and professional doctor. Unfortunately, I was recently billed $220 for an “eyelash removal procedure” which consisted of him taking an eyelash out of my eye that took 2 seconds of my usual visit for routine care. This was not bothersome to me nor the reason of my visit. I just want to caution others to ask to NOT remove the eyelash if you are asked about this in a visit. I did appeal to Georgie Eye’s billing department with no such luck in a billing adjustment. This cost was not reduced after spending 3 weeks of reaching out recurrently to the billing department. I will not be returning to this office.

Dr was nice, but explained basically nothing to me, even when I asked questions. I have never worn glasses. I don’t know anything about them. To get your PD# they charge $25 FYI. The staff is fairly rude and doesn’t much care. For example they let me walk out of the office eyes fully dilated on crutches without eye coverings. It’s just medically negligent. Saying there by the door. I can’t see and have never been to an eye dr how would I know. I told my primary I’m not going back. His nurse said she never goes there. I won’t be either anymore. Two stars for dr because at least he was nice, but I will not go back.

I don't know why his ratings are so low. I've been coming here for at least 10 years, he has always been 100 percent professional, courteous, nice and I feel like he really cares for my vision "He's the man", to go see for eye care in Savannah, if he can't help you, he will guide you to the right place. I forgot to mention Amberly. She, definitely knows her job and does it well. Let me not forget about Amberly, she knows her job and does it well!!!

Dr. Joe Overstreet takes the time to talk you through the procedure and helped me to be 100% comfortable. He has extensive knowledge in his field, and I would not hesitate to recommend him. His entire team is professional, and very helpful.

Dr. Overstreet was awesome one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with any doctor. He took his time and answered all of my questions/concerns. However, some of his staff can come off as rude.
