Dr. Pfahler and his office staff provided me with excellent care for my detached retina. I was scheduled promptly, the surgery went smoothly, and best of all, I have regained my vision. The staff is courteous and responded quickly when I called with a question. The office handles a lot of patients very efficiently. I have been seen very promptly and waited only a short time for one of the appointments. Dr. Pfahler answers all my questions. We are fortunate to have such good eye care in Dayton.

Dr. Pfahler saved my sight and I will be forever grateful. He was aggressive in handling my situation and moved quickly. I would recommend him with no hesitation. Thank you so very, very much.

Ok DR but not worth a multi hour wait past your scheduled appointment. Avoid this location if you can. If you can't bring snacks and any prescribed meds so you don't miss a dose.

I would give Dr. Pfahler and his whole staff 10 stars if I could! My first encounter with his staff was with his receptionist Tierra, who made me feel welcomed and valued. She immediately put me at ease. Dr. Pfahler's medical team is kind, professional, efficient, and always receptive to questions. I have had the pleasure of working with Anita, Melinda, and Sierra. After my first laser surgery, Sam, the office manager graciously answered all of my questions and encouraged me to call back if I had more. Dr. Pfahler is professional, focused, and skilled! His dedication to excellence is evident by his attention to detail, thorough evaluations, and in my case, providing immediate laser intervention. And, although he has a very busy practice, he is genuinely kind and caring. He's the complete package. I am so grateful for my eyesight, and deeply appreciative of Dr. Pfahler and his team.

Dr Pfahler is literally saving my eyesight. He not only stabilized my macular degeneration, I believe he has reversed it. I was referred to him as an emergency patient, and I experienced immediate improvement. Dr Pfahler sees many patients every day. The wait in the waiting room is well worth it, since my eyesight is being saved.

Dr. Pfahler’s waiting room is currently packed with over 25 patients. There are no open seats, standing room only. The staff has brought extra chairs from the back to create an overflow area in the elevator vestibule. We have been waiting over an hour and a half *past* our appointment time. To create such conditions, especially during flu season, is an absolute disrespect to every patient.

His skill and expertise are beyond compare, as he literally restored my sight and mitigated other complications that were present in both eyes. My boyfriend is a patient who was referred to Dr Pfahler for detached retinas. He has been professional, thorough and kind. There is the wait at times to be seen, but he is one man and the only doctor in that office and is well worth any wait! He is great at explaining procedures and expected outcomes, and thorough with precautions to prevent recurrences. The staff are professional and proficient.

Dr. Pfahler saved my eyesight when he opened his office on a Friday night to see me directly from my visit to an ER, and then scheduled eye surgery to reattach my retina early Saturday morning. That was Mother's Day weekend in 2019. I now see Dr. Pfahler annually and my eyes remain healthy. I attribute that to his skill, his caring enough to make things happen with speed, and to his hard working staff. In my eyes, he's a rock star.

As someone in the medical field, I had the unfortunate experience of consulting with this provider. He has terrible bedside manner and I almost lost my eye because of his negligence. He never answered any of my questions and was so aggressive acting the entire visit. He entered the room aggressively slamming things and didn’t even introduce himself. I will never refer any of my patients to him. They can keep billing me for his non-service. I’ll never pay! I went to OSU and was taken care of immediately.
