I have been a patient of Dr. Tao's for 4 years. He took care of my retinal detachment. He takes his time explaining things and has a great bed side manner. I would highly recommend him and feel blessed to have him as my doctor.

Pretty much Dr. Tao saved my eye sight. I also had one experience at Cleveland Clinic per his recommendation. I continue to see Dr. Tao and am thankful for his services!!! Yes he is quick and to the point but very friendly. I just hope he helps others like he helped me.

excellent office / excellent doctor

I am very blessed to have had Dr. Tao perform my retinal detachment surgery. Being clinically depressed, I was extremely anxious when he told me what takes place during this procedure. Dr. Tao explained everything in easy to understand terminology, expressed empathy and did his best to reassure me what to expect. Although the vision in my right eye is still about 95% blind, my eye doctor believes that after about 8 to 12 weeks, my sight should return to what it was before. I'm hoping for the best and grateful to God for blessing the hands of this incredible ophthalmologist. Thank you very much, Dr. Stanley Tao. Not only to you, but the rest of your team at ProMedica!

Dr Tao is one of best in this field and did an excellent job when it came to my surgery. He is informative, and walks you through thoroughly pre and post op care. Great sense of humor too.
