I highly recommend this place!! The people here are so incredibly nice and helpful!! They spent a lot of time with me helping me find the perfect pair of frames! From sizing to color to brand, they are extremely knowledgeable! & I ended up going with an adorable little clear frame from Kate Spade (whom I love). Even the case is super cute! (Pics included) Okay, now for the eye exam part... it was an absolute breeze! I wasn't sure what to expect as I am new to all of this. (I developed astigmatism due to some trauma, so I now need some readers to help combat the blurriness.) The whole exam was very quick, yet thorough. They even have a retina scanner at this location! I thought it was really cool! There is this very bright flash of a green light, and for a split second, you can see your blood vessels! I thought it was pretty cool anyway 😉 Everything about my visit was wonderful, and if you're looking for a great place with even better people, then this is your place!! (Plus, they accept walk-ins!!!)

I went to Dr Tavel Bloomington In today with a pair of glasses that my boyfriend frankly destroyed! Sharon ( one of the employees) was so kind , helpful and knowledgeable fixed them while I waited and did a fabulous job, I will be returning for my new glasses!! Just wanted to give her a very big thank you!! Job well done!!!

Very poor service! The staff was very rude. We went to pick up my wife’s glasses and the staff didn’t seem interested in helping us. She asked us what we wanted with a disgruntled expression on her face. She asked for the last name and when she couldn’t find the glasses, she spoke over my wife and then screamed what’s your first name. The other staff had turned her back on us and acted as though she didn’t see/hear anything. Then I confirmed with her how long they were open and they were open until 6 pm. We went in at 5:45 and we were out by 5:50 pm. We were there only to pick up glasses and not order a new pair. Very disappointed at the service! I was planning to get my next pair of glasses there but with this kind of service we are not going back. Pathetic service!
