It was 1994...I had these little bumps on the bottom of my left eye..I showed to ppl and everyone said you better get that checked out ...I was like well it doesn't hurt and it doesn't effect my vision ..so I finally agreed I will go to a eye doctor...I opened the yellow pages and picked a doctor out...it was Dr. Thomas Bersani...just barely out of college...he looked at it and they other doctors were looking at it ..Dr.Bersani said I think it,s cancer..but we need to take a biopsy..sure enough it was cancer..he said we need to operate immediately.....they were tumors..like 12 or 15 of them..he cut them out..but he said I may lose the eye..but I didn't.....will not know until I get in there...well to this day he is my HERO..I see him every 3 months for botox shots for migraines. .it works...I told him never retire..I don't know what I will do..!!! He very soft spoken tells you everything you need to know and what he is going to do...he has the steady hand of a patient doctor. .I trusted this man and he did and still does not let me down...the surgeries on that eye are remarkable. ...you,d never know I once had cancer and he told me I would of died..had I not gone to him..that was scary...so ppl.if you need advise or seek help with your eyes ..go to him...you will be a honor for him to take care of you...❤

After three attempted surgeries to remove extra skin from eye lids, the results are still not acceptable. I also found his explanation of why I woke up during surgery and my saying you’re hurting me he continued to stitch it up. When asked why he didn’t stop his explanation was insulting. I know two other people who used Dr Bersani, one needing a correction surgery the other went elsewhere to correct. This of course is my opinion, just wanted to share.

5 stars isn't enough to rate my pleasure with Doctor Bersani and his staff. From the receptionist to the nurses , everyone was so kind, informative and waiting time was minimal. Surgery went without a hitch and I am pleased that I now have my peripheral vision again.
