Dr Chu is the the best retina surgeon in Los Angeles. My husband is a physician and he agrees with me. He really cares about his patients and never never takes short cuts! I have been to other retina surgeons and by far he is the most knowledgeable.

Dr Chu and his staff provide exceptional service. He examined my eyes and after another doctor told me I was at risk, Dr Chu confirmed that I was NOT under any severe risk. He was most thorough in my examination. Thank you Dr. Chu

I went in for my 6 month check up. Everything was fine but Dr Chu was very negative even though my vision remained stable. I left feeling depressed and hopeless. He lacks bedside manner which is VERY important. I will be looking for a different RS that shows more compassion and understanding. I’m sure he’s a very good doctor but i need someone more encouraging and positive when dealing with such difficult topics.
