Both the doctor and his assistant were very honest and kind. My wife's surgery came out perfect! No impossible promises were made. She went from bottle-bottom glasses and $1000 contacts to store-bought reading glasses. Dr. Hubickey was recommended to us by several friends who are all also very happy with his work.

Dr. Hubickey gave me the most thorough eye exam I've ever had. He knows the eye so well and is careful in his study of them. He turns over every rock and knows if there is a problem, what it is, and has a plan of action. Your eyes are in excellent hands with this doctor. Wait may be a little long but well worth it. WARNING: The eye glass store within the practice is very expensive- so make sure to ask questions about pricing before you commit.

I just hit the 3 month mark after getting LASEK done. I waited to write this so I could review both the procedure and my experience with Dr Hubickey and his team. He is thorough with his assessment and recommends which procedure is better for you based on YOU. Not rushed, calm demeanor. Helped develop LASEK for the military, I met at least 2 staff at the eye center who had him perform on them and were satisfied a year out. I cannot recommend him enough and wish I had done this sooner. April and Caitlyn were also professional and pleasant to work with. The Eye center is clean, smooth workflow and never more than a 20 min wait. LASEK - I had -6, -6 for several years and wore glasses for 25 years prior. Your first visit is a detailed assessment about 3 hours long, determines if you are a candidate. Second visit was surgery, on a Thursday. Took 30 min, pretty smooth, you need someone to drive you. Third visit is the day after, then at one week, one month and 3 months. Im now scheduled for my next at 9 months. 1st several days were uncomfortable, you need steroids and other drops. I waited a week to drive, could have driven at 4 or 5 days. It only gets better if you take precautions as recommended. The ability to see without glasses is marvelous! Hope this helps, I know I spent months researching and was *very* ambivalent. I recommend Lasek with Dr Hubickey and his team with no hesitation!
