In visiting your office for my eyewear needs I left feeling stigmatized, profiled and my intelligence questioned. Your office staff completely displayed from engagement that their office does not have an inclusive business practice. Prior to visiting your office I made a contact call to inquire if Medicaid is accepted. I was told yes and provided my insurance information. Upon choosing my frames I was given a selection at the back of the store on an eye glass case in the rear in of the store. It picked frames that I found fit me and was excited to wear. I was told 7/10 business days for the return of my eye glasses. Ordered my glasses on the 6th and around the 10th/11th day I went into the store to check the status where I was told they have not been received and do not show a tracking number. The office staff stated he would research into the status and give me a return call. On the 14th or so day I went back into the office to check on the status of my frames where I was told they are not received and still no tracking number. Again I was told that they can give me a call when they are received however I stated I would wait to inquire on the date. From that point not one office state had the provider phone number to inquire on my glasses. It took over thirty minutes of the staff looking for Superior phone number. If I was provided customer service I would not have to listen to office staff search for the provider of my glasses phone number. I later sat in the waiting room while a staff member spoke to Superior where I disappointedly listen to her describe me as mad, upset customer. I did not display such emotions and or feelings. At the conclusion of the call I was told that my eye glasses was never made because THEY did not send the company my frames(protocol) where they half way apologized because they normally do not use my type of insurance(Medicaid) . Ignorance is not a justification for disrespect and failure. At this point in engagement I must highly recommend your office stop stating you accept Medicaid insurance. Your customer base does not include Medicaid and your office staff does not know engagement of respect to Medicaid customer because that’s not y’all customer base. I left the office without my glasses and copay which is a very poor example of customer service, respect and your office. I am leaving this review to politely ask for my eye glasses. I am in need of my eye glasses for the inability to see. Please contact me so we can find resolution and your office can display respect of all customers.
