The office is a history lesson in optometry. He will take as long as it takes to make sure your eyes are in good health.

I was excited to find a smaller private practice and I am absolutely shocked at all of the positive reviews. The doctor was very rude and made me very uncomfortable. This was the first time I ever needed glasses and he didn’t explain anything that he was doing. Finally, he asked where I worked and when I told him he replied “I have a few customers from there and they have better insurance than this”. I do not recommend this provider.

Dr. Drill is the man! I recently moved to Lansdale and found Dr. Drill from Googling for optometrists near me. The waiting room was warm & pleasant, the receptionist Samantha was friendly and eager to help, and Dr. Drill was a wizard at what he did! He was thorough and personable; not only did he perform the tests my eyes needed, he also continually checked with me to see how I was doing. Dr. Drill truly cares about his patients, and that's what sets him apart from the rest. For anything eye-related, I highly recommend Dr. Drill!

I was very pleased with my recent exam with Dr. Drill. It was my first time in his office and my experience was much better than other local offices. He was very punctual and took the time to explain my situation clearly. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Drill has done a fantastic job with my contacts fitting. He really takes the time to make sure you get the best fit. And he makes sure to inform you of rebates so I also got a great deal.

Dr. Drill is an excellent eye doctor. I have tried other optometrists in the area, but came back to Dr. Drill. He is patient, truly listens to my concerns, and takes the time to make sure everything is done right. My glasses come out perfect every time thanks to his careful attention and expertise. I highly recommend Dr. Walter to anyone looking for quality eye care!

Dr. Drill is knowledgeable, friendly and puts his patients' best interests at heart. Not pushy or salesy at all. Jackie (the office staff person) is the friendliest receptionist that I have seen in any office. This office is such a warm place with nice people. Went last December. Had not much option in terms of frames. More importantly Very poor quality glasses. Spent a lot of money on a high end spectacles but less than 4 months in March the spectacle wire broke all sudden while I was driving. Pls don't buy anything from here.

I have been a patient of Dr. Drill for 10 years. He is knowledgeable, accommodating, punctual, caring, kind and compassionate, informative and never pushy. I have been so pleased with my progressive glasses and highly recommend him. Speaking on the phone, setting appointment and checking in and out with the receptionist is easy and pleasant.

Dr. Drill is the first optometrist who ever got my prescription correct. Thanks to him, I was able to see clearly for the first time in many years. I've been seeing him for a few years now and could not be happier with his services. When I wanted contacts, there was a little difficulty getting the prescription correct (it's tough with astigmatism), and he had me come back several times until it was just right, no questions asked. His admin, Jackie, is also lovely. Thanks Dr. Drill!

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Drill for over a decade now. He is very knowledgeable and accommodating. I highly recommend him for anyone in the area.

A lesson burned is a lesson learned. I finally conceded to no longer having eagle-eye vision and walked into that Owl place, the ones proclaiming themselves as the "Best". Yeah, there's that. While the staff were friendly and eager to assist, in the end they failed to deliver. After going back four more times, and even spending more money, I finally gave up having spent close to $500. Two years later, and one visit to Dr. Drill...I can see clearly now, rain or shine! The lesson learned; those box-store eye shops aren't what they're cracked up to be and, in the end, you'll spend more with them for less. Dr. Drill doesn't have a fancy office, with walls lined with thousands of eyeglass frames. His equipment isn't leading edge technology. But he's got a courteous and friendly assistant, and the man knows what he's doing. Do yourself a favor; Don't fall for the $69 gimmicks from those flashy money-sucking franchises. See a pro...see Dr. Drill. You'll be glad you did. I sure am...thanks Doc. See you next year! P.S. I spent WAY less with Dr. Drill than I did with the Owl guy!
