I have been coming here since I was a little girl, and they have always impressed me with their kindness and attentiveness. Dr. Rogers always takes the time to catch up with me and discuss my health in detail. They never rush you and they always ensure that you receive the best care possible. I recently moved away and live about 40 minutes from this location, but I’m happy to drive that far for this type of care and familiar friendly faces.

I just want to share my appreciation for my optometrist, Dr Rogers, and for Byron in the optical shop. I had my eye exam earlier this month and Dr Rogers and I discussed the option of computer glasses, which he prescribed. They were ready very quickly--within a week!--but when I tried using them they didn't seem to work; nothing changed in the resolution/focus on any PC screen I was viewing. I made an appointment and returned to the clinic to figure out what could be done. Byron was the first to take care of me; he listened very carefully to my concerns, checked my wearing of the glasses (which was correct), and then checked the prescription against the glasses themselves. It turns out that the lab where they were made had used the FAR vision numbers from my trifocal prescription rather than the MID vision numbers. He passed the information on to Dr Rogers, who --despite having a very busy afternoon--took the time to verify the prescription and the glasses themselves, as well as re-checking my mid vision acuity. He adjusted the prescription slightly and then asked my nurse to escort me back to the optical shop, where they would send in my glasses to be redone--at no charge! I really appreciate that! Byron once again took care of me and made sure all the information was correct before boxing up the glasses to return to the lab. I just received notification that my glasses are ready--again, in just one week!--and will pick them up next week. Many, MANY thanks to Byron and Dr Rogers for their thorough care and attention to details! I really appreciate them!

I have gone to Hawks, Besler, Rogers, and Stoppel for 30+ years. They have never failed to take care of my eye and glasses needs. All of their people are very helpful and polite. Under occasional critical circumstances over the years, I’ve eventually been helped by all the Dr.s there besides my primary, Dr. Hawks. All equally proficient. You will be very pleased using this group for your eye health needs.
