Efficient, friendly and professional. I enjoyed my first visit here as they were prompt with starting my appointment on time. All staff and Dr. Pate are friendly and helpful. Everyone greets you and make you feel welcome. Dr. Pate addressed my eye care needs, explained all the tests and what to expect. I foresee a long relationship with this office. Highly recommend!!

Excellent experience! Dr. Pate and all of his staff were so knowledgeable, kind, and patient. My prescription changed pretty considerably and Dr. Pate took the time to explain and walk through it with me. They even gave me a teacher discount which was incredibly generous! I will come here for all my eye related needs. :)

If you go to any other eye doctor, you are cutting yourself short. The women here are beyond helpful, they are very considerate of customers feelings. Any questions you may have, they make sure they’re answered. The doctor doesn’t rush you out the door and will make sure you understand what he is seeing on your test. They make you feel as though you are part of a family. My job changed after I had been a patient there and had already purchased my glasses through my previous insurance. One pair had transitions and the other didn’t. I quickly regretted not getting transitions in both! When my job changed I had to go back and have my glasses fixed because there was a scratch on the lenses. I found out my new insurance wasn’t accepted at Durham vision. I was beyond upset. I don’t ever want to go to another vision center! Since my glasses were under warranty, I was still able to send them off to have the scratches fixed. Once they came back, I received a text from Durham vision telling me I could come by and pick them up. When I got there to get them, THEY HAD INSTALLED THE TRANSITIONS FREE OF CHARGE!!!! They said they were apologizing that my new insurance was not accepted so they did that for me! I was beyond thankful. I can’t even explain it! Companies don’t do that. So I am leaving my job and have found another one that will allow me to still go to Durham vision. That is how confident I am with this group of people. They are extraordinary. Like I said, you are cheating yourself if you go anywhere else. Trust me!!! Thank you Durham Vision. I will NEVER forget your act of kindness.
