I went to visit Dr. Celina Ruiz for an annual eye exam, and this was by far the best eye exam experience I’ve ever had in my 31 years. She was so nice and had a wonderful sense of humor, putting you at ease. She was kind and patient in explaining how conditions I had worked, how prescriptions were actually determined, how technology was used, and why she recommended what she recommended. She made me realize I had been using a prescription that was too high for me and should lower it a bit. I’m looking forward to testing my new prescription. Also a lot of great technology was used which is important to me! I personally hate the eye dilation process as well as the machine that gets very close to your eye and puffs air into it. At this practice you don’t need to undergo either as they have a machine that does an eye scan to determine this. It was all done in the blink of an eye. Highly recommend!

That Optical at Merrick Park is really awful! After their staff adjusted my frames, frames were out of shape. I felt dizzy and throw up. So I lost $1,100. I went there 5 times. The last time they were very rude and suggested that I buy a third pair of glasses. God! I have bought the same 2 pairs of glasses in 2 years.

Dr. Ruiz was amazing and both Edward and Daniel did a great job walking me through the various frames. Even found a way to make my insurance work when I had lost all hope that it would be taken. Great location, great team, and a great atmosphere.
