They never made the referal the receptiones is no good she hangs up the phone when she dose not know what to say.

Love El Valle Optical, the customer service is exceptional. They have interpretation available for clients who require bilingual assistance. My frames of choice are Gucci or Tom Ford, El Valle Optical has an outstanding selection of both. As a resident of the community it's a treasure in our Southwest Detroit Neighborhood! You can call up to 20 times and they won’t even bother to answer you. I just want to know if my glasses are ready or not

I scheduled this appointment two weeks in advance and rearranged my work schedule to attend. Upon arrival, I was informed that my insurance eligibility date had not yet passed, something that should have been verified at the time of booking. This oversight resulted in lost work time, an unnecessary trip, and now requires me to wait another two weeks and rearrange my schedule again due to my job’s notice policy. It is extremely disappointing that such a basic verification step was not completed beforehand. I strongly recommend confirming insurance eligibility prior to scheduling appointments to prevent this from happening to other patients.

El Valle Optical is horrible. I was told it'd be 2-3weeks for my glasses to come in. I called on the 3rd week, and was told they'll come in tomorrow, I call the next day and was told the same thing, I then call the following day, and was told the exact same thing. It has now been a month, and im still waiting.

A Gem in the Southwest Detroit. One of the very few optical shops in the Metro Detroit area that are authorized Tom Ford resellers. I don't know about the other reviews, but the Team at El Valle have always come through. It's as simple as calling and providing the model number and then picking up the product. If it's not what your looking for, they're very accommodating and will get you in the frames you want. I've yet to have a bad experience! Plus, when your downtown all the time, it's easier then making that trek 15+ miles north.
