Such a great experience with Dr. Natalia Tilki and her staff. The wait times are relatively short (usually 15 minutes maximum). The doctor and nurse practitioner are so understanding. We've never had an issue with either of them. Office staff is great too, very friendly and professional! Is been our Doctor for years... we moved from The Valley to Pomona and we drove all the time just to see her. The physician is absolutely A highly skilled professional. However, when asked a simple question she dismissed it as irrelevant. It's understandable that doctors are busy making evaluations which take concentration but they should definitely take the time to answer a patient's questions. Especially when the question is related to the examination.

Dr. Tilki and her staff has NO RESPECT with their patient’s time. They scheduled my elderly mother cataract surgery 3 months ago for Sep 16th and even her primary doctor confirmed. She was told to stop her blood thinner a week before the surgery. She had her check-up twice with this eye center already. She also got a call to confirm her appointment on the 16th. My Mom took a week off from work for this. To make the story short, she went there as scheduled, waited an hour and was told that they don’t do surgery there and what she was scheduled is another eye exam. (3rd this year). My Mom was confused and obviously disappointed. The doctor talked to her and was rude also. This is very unprofessional. My only relief is perhaps she is saved by not going through this operation. How can we trust a doctor and her staff who are very unprofessional and rude. I can tell through this experience that for them PATIENTS ARE JUST A NUMBER.

Doctor Tilki understands my concerns and problems and has taken all the time necessaryto explain and to educate me to the point where I have complete confidence in them. Treatment of my problems (bleeding within the eye and also cataracts) has been 100% successful and I look forward to working with doctor Natalia Tilki, in the future.

All I needed/asked for was a prescription for glasses! Dr Tilki continually ignored my request(s) and had me return a dozen times, each time I was put through their thorough sequence of eye tests. I felt she was needlessly charging my (medi-cal) insurance. I finally had to get my carrier Blue Shield involved after over a year of needless visits. Blue Shield was wonderful, insisting that Dr Tilki write up my prescription. ᚼTip: They don't validate-I always parked on Libbit Ave after having to pay $20 for parking on my first visit!

They are so nice, 2nd time there. Very good!! Update: Broke a lens on my old prescription glasses so I thought since I'm here I'll get them here. This is where problems started. My new glasses came in but were bifocals not progressives like I ordered so they went back and I went home. A week later the latest set came back and they were progressives this time. As I walked out of office to elevator and turned my head I got dizzy as the lenses are ground in the center only, not to the edges, at home, I tripped on a step down to my backyard. Today we were supposed to get this straightened out but I was told my vision was 20/20 and that I was good to go. Because they made a mistake on the first pair they didn't want to pick up the tab for the third and correct the grind. $560 out of my pocket as my insurance doesn't cover glasses. I hate to say that but I did not make the mistake, it's a mistake and that's OK but I'm not paying for their mistake. I really like the office staff, let's see what happens.

Doctor and staff are friendly but this time it was a little off. My appointment was for 1:30pm and doctor was still out to lunch. They heavily dilated my eyes and should have let me know that i needed someone to drive me home. My eyes were blurry the whole time and it was dangerous for me to make it home alone. This was the first time that there was a mishap with my visit. Hopefully it will be better next time.

Very disappointing experience. I went to Emerald Eye Center (Dr. Natalia Tilki) after double-checking with them that they accepted my UnitedHealthcare PPO insurance. They confirmed over the phone that I was covered and told me to come in — no issues mentioned. After the appointment, they suddenly claimed they don’t accept my insurance and tried to charge me $150 out of pocket. When I brought up that I had already confirmed coverage beforehand, they were dismissive and offered no solution. Eventually, after pushing back and speaking directly to the doctor, they said I didn’t need to pay — but the staff was rude and unprofessional throughout the process. They didn’t take responsibility for their own mistake and left me wondering whether I’ll still be billed later. It felt like a bait-and-switch, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values transparency, respect, or proper handling of insurance.

Horrible - they charged me cash price- even when I had told them I have an insurance. They said they will take the cash since there’s no one to process in the office and they had promised me that they will take care of it the next day and return the cash. I am extremely disappointed with the service at Emerald Eye Center. I had an appointment scheduled for 8:15 AM today, which the office repeatedly confirmed through calls and messages in the days leading up to it. I was also told over the phone that my insurance would be accepted. When I arrived, after waiting for 15 minutes, I was informed that they do not actually accept my insurance—despite being assured otherwise beforehand. To make matters worse, the doctor herself wasn’t even in the office. It’s shocking how careless and irresponsible both the doctor and the staff were in handling the situation. I had to take time off from work and drive through morning traffic for this appointment, only to be met with disorganization and a total disregard for my time. Overall, a horrible experience, and I would not recommend this office to anyone.

It was my first time at a eye doctor in over two years and I have to say from the front office staff to the whole office they were soooo nice and extremely helpful! Especially Evelyn the receptionist at the front desk! She was extremely sweet and made me feel so welcomed! On top of it if your afraid of doctors period they make take the fright away! I definitely am happy to have them as my optomologist! Will continue on going back!

Love coming here. It's clean and Dr. Tilki is very knowledgeable. Thorough, and understanding. The team is great as well. They are efficient and the entire process is pleasant. I come here every three months to check my eyes for my diabetes (type 1)
