My Name is Neil Powell and I had cataract surgery at Empire over a year ago now and I have been meaning to leave a 6 star review. Seems 5 is max but my experience overwhelmed me. I have near perfect vision now with new corrective lens implants after wearing glasses for over 70 years. I highly recommend all the staff at Empire Eye Physicians and of course especially Dr Kontos who answered all my questions and removed any trepidation I came to him with.

Excellent! Dr Claypool made me feel valued and important, he listened to all I had to say, asked pertinent questions, and didn't just blow off my concerns. He also explained everything thoroughly and took time to make sure we covered all of my concerns and that I understand the causes, and the treatment plan. I am VERY impressed! And the facility is wonderful, nicely located, clean and professional. Very good experience, plus my eye condition is getting excellent care.

Difference of expertise of someone who deals with dry eye everyday from normal eye doctor is HUGE! Unmistakably worth the time and effort to see a specialist. This guy has this down to an art. He has seen case after case and knows what he is doing. I had my doubts before, but not now. Will do light therapy and Lipiflo treatments. He had me so convinced I can't wait for treatments. Have suffered with dry eye for so long. Am ready to be better.
