I have no problem with my optometrist who I have been seeing for years and is very thorough and that I trust with my vision exam. Unfortunately he has joined another practice. The office staff, in my limited experience with them, has not been good.Came to pick up my new glasses. Completely wrong prescription lenses. Was given lens for hyperopia instead of glasses for myopia. Whether they had mixed up boxes, labels or had sent in the wrong prescription to the lab, who knows. I was also told that the distance between my eyes needed to be remeasured. No it didn’t. The office is not close to me and I do not relish another trip to Encinitas.

From the front office to the doctors there is a lack of concern for the patient. During my annual exam, my new prescription wasn’t saved on the computer as well as the mandatory scan was incomplete. I had to file a complaint with the insurance company so that I could see another doctor. I asked for a refund of the fees they charged for my incomplete exam and have never been refunded. I was a patient of Dr. Rosa for over ten years and never experienced this lack of regard for patient care.

DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!! They lost MY CONTACT lenses that were paid for in full in mid-December and here we are, almost March and STILL NO ONE CARES ENOUGH NOT ONLY TO CALL ME TO WORK OUT the REPLACEMENT but I’ve been the one to call easily 5 times to have them reorder and resend what I paid for. STILL NO RESOLUTION AND NO REFUND! Customer service is absolutely non existent!! All you hear is “oh, I’m so sorry, I’ll look into it…” Find somewhere else where they actually CARE!!!! Such a bummer these guys have managed to UTTERLY DESTROY the beautiful practice Dr Rosa had before he retired!!!!
