I have gone to Eugene Eyewear for years. Dr. Jung is amazing. Thorough, professionally friendly and knowledgeable. He discusses what he finds as he goes along. Great teacher…I now know about my specific eye health issues and what to expect in the future. Staff is friendly, efficient and helpful, especially when helping me decide which frames to buy! Highly recommend Eugene Eyewear. (I would suggest they change their name because they do much more than sell a wide variety of great up-to-date “Eyewear”.)

Dr Jung accepts OHP. He is top-notch. He is very thorough throughout the exam and answered any questions I had. He checked my current prescription glasses to make sure they were made correctly. They offer affordable prescriptions/glasses. Very nice staff as well. They were able to schedule me within a week. I really liked the experience. Nicer than Costco, not hard sell with the glasses at the end. Very understanding and compassionate. For that reason alone I will fill my prescriptions with them.

After being a patient here for many years I had to move on. Dr. Jung is very nice but the staff has been terrible and seem to really hate their jobs. The turnover is high as well. It feels like a hostile environment. The manager, Emily, was the worst of them. They don't seem to have the basic customer service skills necessary or think that adjusting your glasses to fit comfortably is an important part of their job. Always being told, "You can always bring them back" is just another way of saying, "I can't get it right and I don't want to deal with you, so just come back another time, okay?" I got tired of having to go back. The one guy, Hunter, who was great at his job AND cared that you had a good experience left. That was a huge loss for them because he was the only reason I didn't leave sooner. My last experience there a few weeks ago was the worst ever. When I picked out a new pair of glasses, Brianne spent 30 minutes and multiple attempts to straighten them out so she could make measurements for the progressive lenses. They were really crooked. This was 30 minutes of her trying to get them straight, not to fit comfortably, just level. Finally, I had to ask Emily to help her because she wouldn't ask for help herself. When I got the glasses the progressives were way off. I couldn't read my phone, it was blurry. She hastily measured them again and said they were two millimeters off. I told her the were way off. She said something like they should be better this time and she sent them to be redone. Well, guess what? She had it wrong again. She had someone else remeasure them and she agreed that they were wrong by another two millimeters and needed to go back yet again. I let them know that I am done. I shared all of this with them. They know why I left. So much wasted time and frustration at Eugene Eyewear. Sigh.
