Prior to lasik, I wore glasses for 17 years. I just couldn't take it anymore so upon a friend's recommendation, I contacted Excel and had a consultation. They walked me through the steps of what would happen during the surgery and answered any questions I had. Normally I am an anxious person but felt fine the day of the surgery and it took a total of 5 minutes to complete and then I could see. So thankful for Excel and the wonderful work they did!!

I had a LASIK procedure done at Excel Laser Vision Institute a few years ago, and it has left me with permanent vision loss in my right eye and a condition called Keratoconus. Keratoconus is an eye condition in which the cornea becomes thinner and gradually bulges out into a cone shape.
What makes matters worse is that the doctor who performed the LASIK procedure, Dr. Ferzaad Moosa, failed to warn me that my cornea was too thin to safely perform the procedure. As a result, I now suffer from daily eye pain, migraines, and permanent vision loss in my right eye.
I went back to Excel Laser Vision Institute to share my concerns, but they were unhelpful and dismissive. They failed to take responsibility for the complications that arose from the LASIK procedure and did not provide me with any support or assistance.
This has been an extremely difficult experience for me to endure, and it has impacted my quality of life in a significant way. I now have to live with the consequences of a procedure that was performed without proper warning or consideration for my safety.
I would strongly caution against choosing Excel Laser Vision Institute for any vision correction procedures, especially with Dr. Ferzaad Moosa. They do not prioritize patient safety or take responsibility for the complications that arise from their procedures.
If you're considering a LASIK procedure, I urge you to do your research thoroughly and choose a reputable clinic that values patient safety and is transparent about the risks and potential complications of the procedure.

I had undergone the LASIK procedure in October 2022 and ever since my eyesight has been worse. I can’t get any prescription glasses to fit me like before and I’m left with blurred and double Vision that can’t be corrected by glasses now. I’ve been many experts including a corneal surgeon. It has been a nightmare. I can’t even go down stairs without holding the rails and I’m in my 20s still. Worst decision of my life. The staff has been professional and doctor Moosa always returned my calls and remain excellent and caring doctor. But unfortunately my life quality and my vision aren’t good. And I regret this procedure deeply.
