Avoid this practice at all costs. There are tons of choices in Jersey City and Manhattan where you don't have to put up with nonsense. Dr Chen did a sloppy measurement of my eyesight, under prescribed my glasses twice, and then refused to believe me or see me for a follow up when I said I couldn't see well, unless I paid extra. With the glasses she made for me I couldn't see road signs while driving... Her office then gaslit me into believing that there was nothing wrong with my prescription. I went to another optometrist who diligently measured my eyesight and found that Dr Chen's prescription was pretty far off. Dr Chen continued to refuse to see me even after being shown the conflicting diagnosis. They continued to demand that I pay for another consultation even though it seemed like they made a mistake. I'm now happily wearing glasses made by the other optometrist and can actually see road signs while driving. To their credit, Dr Chen did refund me for the glasses they made but I was still out a whole lot of time and a hundred or so dollars for the extra consultation. They also blacklisted me from their practice without ever checking if they made a mistake. A doctor who cares would've at least re-measured my eyes carefully just in case they made a mistake. Instead, Dr Chen flatly ignored my issues and the conflicting diagnosis, probably because seeing me again would cost them money. I did not feel like Dr Chen cared about my well being at all.

Had a good experience here. The staff are professional and explained to me everything I needed to know. They were also very patient and supportive during my training for eye contacts.

Went for an eye exam to get contacts. Better pricing than other places I have been too. Great rebate value on contacts. Staff had lots of patience and doctor was professional.
