Hands down the BEST eye medical doctor around. I ha e Crohns Disease...and he knew WVERYTHING about how the disease can affect my eyes, etc. Besides just that he is extremely professional, knowledgable, thorough and personable. I recently underwent cataract surgery at the Medical City Surgery Center Fort Worth that was performed by Dr. Subir Bhatia and was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism, compassion, and efficiency of the entire team. From my initial consultation at Dr. Bhatia’s Irving office, he took the time to clearly explain the condition of my eyes and ensured I fully understood the diagnosis. His approach was patient and thorough, never rushed. Once it was determined that cataract surgery was necessary, Dr. Bhatia carefully discussed the pros and cons of the different lens options available, helping me make an informed decision. On the day of surgery, Dr. Bhatia performed the procedure with exceptional skill and care. I am truly grateful for his expertise. Remarkably, I told him the very next day that it felt as if no surgery had been performed—there was no scratchiness, irritation, or redness at all. I would also like to acknowledge Erica, who is a tremendous asset to the practice. She was meticulous in taking eye measurements and clearly explained the medication schedule for both before and after the surgery, as well as the necessary post-operative care. Despite a busy schedule, she consistently returns phone calls the same day when a message is left. Her responsiveness and commitment are truly commendable and greatly appreciated.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bhatia since the beginning of 2020. He and his staff have been so kind and knowledgeable in treating my eye. They have taken care of me through eye surgery and many procedures. Dr. Bhatia truly cares for what is best for his patients. He goes above what is expected, even to the point of after my surgery I was in more pain than"I" could handle......my husband called and Dr. saw me on a Saturday in which the office is closed....and he was able to give me the comfort I needed as I continued to heal. Further more, I am a patient that doesn't use insurance. I self pay and Dr. Bhatia has shown more than fairness, he has shown grace. I trust him and his staff and highly recommend this office to anyone that is looking for the best! I also want to say that Erica is such a blessing to this office as well. I am truly greatful for such a great team in charge of my eye care!

I underwent eye surgery by Dr. Subir Bhatia recently. Being a physician myself, I have been thoroughly impressed - even amazed - by Dr. Bhatia's meticulous attention to detail, skill and bedside manner. He has deep subject matter expertise and cares for his patient which makes him truly special. Erica is fantastic as well.

Dr. Bhatia removed my cataracts which I had delayed because of covid19 and now I am seeing crystal clear. My friends recommended I go to dr. Bhatia and I could not be more happy with the care and friendly front desk staff.

This office is wonderful and the doctor is really patient, caring, considerate and I would not go anywhere else.

CAUTION: ALERT: This office has a concerning policy of requiring all customers to pay $170 upfront, regardless of what their insurance card says. This policy is not communicated clearly at the time of appointment, which can be frustrating and misleading for customers. Additionally, it seems that the office is not willing to work with insurance companies and is insisting that customers pay upfront, even when their insurance company says that they only need to pay a co-pay. This lack of flexibility and trust in the insurance company is concerning and may lead to unnecessary financial burden for customers. It is important to be aware of these policies and procedures before choosing to visit this office. If you have questions or concerns about payment or billing, it is important to ask about them upfront and ensure that you understand the office's policies before committing to an appointment. Overall, I would exercise caution and consider exploring other options for eye care.

This Dr's office will not give you your records as a patient. According to them, they are a paperless office, they say because of HIPPA rules they cannot email my own records to me and request I pay $50 to get paper copies. This is the most ridiculous and outrageous thing I've ever heard from a treatment facility.

I had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Bhatia on both my eyes recently and couldn't be more pleased by the outcome. He is very compassionate and it's clear he loves his work as he got thrilled with me at the outcome of my superb vision afterward. He is genuine and patient, always taking an interest in your needs and not bothered by questions you may ask. He makes sure you have a complete understanding and have no apprehensions. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Bhatia and his staff have been nothing but professional and caring. I had my procedure in Fort Worth at Medical City surgery center that also took very good care of me. I have sense been to the Irving office for follow ups and I’m very pleased. Dr. Bhatia’s communication and care during a time when he had my vision in his hands was very comforting. Dr. Bhatia is amazing! I visited him after getting conflicting messages from two different Lasik consultations I had. One doctor said I have good eyes for Lasik and the other said I didn't and should do PRK instead. Dr. Bhatia conducted a thorough examination of my eyes and determined I was a candidate for either. He took the time to talk me through the pros and cons of each procedure which was very helpful and informative. He is very knowledgeable and I appreciate that he talked me through everything. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Bhatia removed a cataract for me in June 2024.. He is very caring, also very professional.. I was scared but he talked to me throughout the surgery & it really helped me alot.. My surgery went smoothly & the eyesight in my right eye is so much better now.. Also, the girls in the office were very professional.. Thank you to all of you..

Best Doctor in Irving for Eyes..

I’m transitioning care from one doctor to another. Called this office to see if they support my condition. They said yes. I made an appointment, came up to the office, and Monica left a message on my phone a couple days before I got here saying that they “can’t fill out paperwork because they haven’t seen me.” When I got to the office, the lady said, “Dr. Bhatia doesn’t fill out paperwork for any patient whatsoever.” When I said that was contradictory to what was stated on the voicemail, they started denying it. There’s nothing like a good accountability receipt, so check out the photo. Because they are willing to waste time and I’m hoping this review helps you not waste yours. He is the best eye dr . He did a thorough eye exam . He took his time doing my exam . Told me thing that I never imagine I have . Specially a stroke . I am worried but I be ok as soon as the MRI is done . Thank you so much Dr Bathi.
