I have been to the Promenade location and was very pleased with Dr. Ellen Beebe and staff! They weren't able to get me an appointment earlier than January 2024 and my contact prescription was expiring. I was so happy to be able to get an appointment at the Rio Rancho location last Monday. But to have a scheduled appointment and it take two hours was pretty Extreme! I was shuffled around three different rooms which was very Frustrating! Then when my eyes were dilated and I have horrible vision without my contacts it was terrible to not be able to see and put in a waiting room for 20 min. to finally see Dr. Jeffery Strosnider. He seemed very rushed and he didn't explain too much to me about my vision that changed quite a bit from 2019 other than I'm not legally able to drive. Which I'm thinking yeah not without my contacts! He's not very Professional at all and it seemed that they were way overbooked! Also, the girl that checked me out charged me $55 for a contact fitting fee even though I haven't been charged before. She and the Dr. said my insurance would cover glasses, but not contacts which I was fine with. I go next door to order glasses to be told I would have to pay for my glasses which was very frustrating when I haven't before with my insurance. So I left without ordering anything without my correct prescription! I highly don't recommend this Eye Dr. Office at all!

My wife went there yesterday morning. She's never had her eyes dilated, they did not tell her this would happen prior to the appointment. She was told her her eyes would be "blurry for a bit". No warning about not being able to drive immediately afterwards, no warning that she should bring sunglasses, no offer to give her sunglasses. She had a headache and was nauseous all day... why would you not give fair warning about what eye dilation entails? My poor wife had a miserable day, all of this could have been easily avoided with simple communication. She said everyone was nice so they get 2 stars instead of 1.

There was a fire alarm in the building today and despite how crazy the schedule was once the building was cleared and we were allowed back inside everyone was exceptionally friendly and Care was exceptional. I was extremely pleased with the facility all of the providers and the related service personnel
