I was visiting my mother from out of state, and had the pleasure of taking her to her eye appointment. Throughout our time at Eye Care Associates, the entire staff has consistently demonstrated a level of professionalism and expertise that is truly commendable. Dr. McCarthy's vast knowledge in the field of optometry, coupled with his genuine concern for his patients' well-being, sets him apart in the best possible way. It is truly exciting to witness the continuation of his exceptional care through the involvement of his son, Ryan S. McCarthy, OD, in the practice. Dr. McCarthy's expertise shines brightly during his meticulous eye examinations, where he takes the time to thoroughly explain each step of the process and addresses any questions we may have. His patience and attentiveness have made my mother feel genuinely valued as a patient, and she always leaves the clinic with a clear understanding of her eye health and any necessary treatments or adjustments. From the moment we walked through the door, we were warmly greeted, and the waiting area was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. I really liked their staff and felt they were thorough but they really screwed me over on the bill. I was never informed my insurance wasn't accepted so I was left to pay a "discounted" $148 bill when I was expecting my insurance to cover everything. If you have Davis Vision insurance, don't go here.

Dr Wise is a awesome Eye Doctor the receptionist heavyset, white woman with brown hair. Super rude. Do not care for minority people. Do not like helping them at all.
