Would not recommend this place to anyone. I came here to get a contact lens prescription and it took almost 3 months with 5+ appointments (I lost track). To preface, I wore contact lenses for over 10 years before switching to glasses a few years ago and never had any issue. Here was my experience:
1–It took at least 4 appointments for the students to figure out the right prescription for my contacts. They were really tripped up because I am farsighted, and had me try multiple pairs of contacts that did not let me see anything at a distance. Did not help that each student trainee would make changes to my prescription during the vision test without consulting the actual doctor. I actually had the doctor check and correct my glasses prescription after a student changed it and made an offhand comment to me about it. You will see the real doctor for 2 minutes at the end of your appointment, if you are lucky.
2–I was forced to do a pupil dilation, in which the student over-dilated my eyes and I could not drive or work for 48 hours—absolutely insane.
3–I was charged a non-refundable contact lens fitting fee at the beginning of this process for over $100, despite having insurance. This is a huge annoyance because I wanted to get contacts for a specific event this summer that had come and gone by the time they finalized my prescription. I never even ordered contacts because I don’t trust the prescription after my experience here!
4–office is insanely disorganized and some of the staff are really rude. At one visit, the secretary refused to help an elderly woman in the lobby who had come in to have a bandage removed the day after having eye surgery recommended by the doctor. The woman RIPPED OFF the bandage in the middle of the waiting room, while screaming in pain and for help—truly disturbing and shocking to witness. Another time, the secretary took down my phone number on a notepad I saw was full of numbers with no names attached—literally a scam. They never called me and had me show up to a fitting appointment for which the lenses they ordered had not arrived. Then, they never called me when the lenses did arrive to come pick them up.
Conclusion: this place sucks. SKIP it, save yourself the hassle of being a guinea pig for Harvard

Dr. Lee and his assistant as well as the receptionist were all very kind, welcoming, thorough, and prompt. Professional, yet caring and patient. Best experience I've had at the eye clinic in my entire life.

Your only allowed to see students. Told me I had to pick two pairs then when my insurance would only pay for one gave me the pair I didn't want. The glasses were to big for my face. Wanted me to go 4 weeks with no glasses so I took the pair that didn't fit.
