After a recent move, I made a new appointment with Dr. Fierro for an eye exam. Not only was he thorough with the exam, but also offered a different type of multifocal contact lense that gave me the ability to eliminate my reader glasses and see distance just as well. Plus, he’s a super nice guy.

Dr. Fierro was great! Everyone was super nice in the office as well. No wonder why he has had some patients for 32 years! Thank you!

This is my second time seeing Dr. Fierro and I am very pleased with him. He is quick and efficient, as well as knowledgeable and explains everything very well! If you’re looking for a new eye doc, Dr. Fierro is your guy!

Dr Matthew Fierro was very knowledgeable, kind, very willing to clearly answer my questions and helped me to understand future decisions that I needed to consider regarding my vision. He also asked me to follow up with him for recommendations when I decided to move forward. It was a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend him & wouldn’t hesitate to return for my next exam. So grateful for our experience on 6/9/2026, with Eye Care of Scottsdale, inside Costco….My husband and I had to be in town for a Dr appt…we live almost three hours away. At the time we made eye exam appts, only ones available were late in the afternoon, but we needed the exams, so we scheduled….We arrived to Costco, around 1:00pm…I stopped by the office to see if perhaps there were any cancellations that we might be able to move up our appt…The staff, knowing that we were out of town, conferred with Dr Fierro…..He very graciously stated that he could see us about an hour or so earlier….We did our shopping at Costco, reported back at the agreed time, and were both able to see different Drs….Dr Fierro and Dr Deutsch were fantastic…Thank you to everyone, the Front Desk, the Techs, and the Drs!….We were able to have the exams, order our glasses, and be back home before dark!…Their actions were over and beyond our expectations…Top Notch!….

Dr Fierro came highly recommended by my glaucoma specialist. He is knowledgeable, kind and efficient at his work. Also nice he is in Costco as they have great prices on contacts and glasses.

This was a great visit. Dr Fierro explained my dry blurry vision problem and recommended solutions I had not heard before. Thank you!! Also the Scottsdale office has a Nikon machine that can photograph your eyes without dilation. Everyone was friendly in the office as well.

Dr. Fierro is the best. He is knowledgeable. Very pleasant. The staff is wonderful. I can’t say enough good things.

Dr Fierro was a true professional. He also saved me money on a box of contacts that were incorrect when ordered. He was very thorough with a great bedside manner. I highly recommend him.
