I’ve been getting my eyes checked and my glasses here for years. The only negative experience I had was the receptionist arguing with me, telling me my daughter and grandson didn’t have active coverage. I repeatedly told her she was calling the wrong number for verification but she wouldn’t listen to me. Finally got it straightened out with another associate. The negative ratings seem to be from being in the middle of covid. I think most people would agree we were all on edge during that time. Not saying these people didn’t have a legitimate complaint, but there’s always room for human error.

The charge for the pupils distance in my prescription is $40 EXTRA. WHAT? They are super expensive and about the service you feel like they are all getting trained with you every single time. Awful!

Not even worth one star!! Numerous calls regarding where my glasses were only to finally have an appointment where the "optician" gave me one of the two pairs I had ordered and a sandwich baggie with the lenses of the second pair of glasses. The optician was asked where the frames were to which she replied you did not order frames to which I replied "am I suppose to hold the lenses up to my eyes". As she had no reply she excused herself and did not return. The optician who originally filled my order then came to the table to tell me they had no order for frames only lenses to which I replied lenses are cut to the frame specs so that is incorrect I ordered frames. Finally a "manager" came over once again this person told me I had not ordered frames I calmly (kept my composure the whole annoying episode) insisted that I did indeed order frames but to end this fiasco I asked for a refund. The manager told me that a refund could be requested and a check would be sent to my home in approximately 6 weeks despite having paid by debit card. I asked for a card reversal/return and was told they could not do that! After a discuss of why anyone would order only lenses and obviously my not accepting the ridiculous idea of baggy lenses the manager excused herself returning to the fitting table with frames stating "Ok this is what happened these are the frames you ordered but the order did not process correctly due to the insurance interface". Apparently simple quality control of matching order invoices to items received is not done. Anyway after being lied to, wasting my time with nonsense and the inability to process a real time refund the lenses were placed in the frames and I went on my way. My family canceled their upcoming appointments and we obviously do not do business with this company. This optical has many elderly patients it is unfortunately they might fall victim to this "group". Please note they knew but did not wish to accept responsibility for this mistake. Worse customer service EVER. This has been posted before but I like to keep it current as it is very telling. The Main St. in Williamsville branch.
