I have been going to see the Retna Specialist about 5 years now. The doctor is very nice . Everything he has tried is not working for me. Today I had an appointment I walk in give my name & I am told your appointment was at 7:45 . It was 8 AM . No question asked if I was stuck in traffic no questions asked. Instead I’m told we cannot see you. You need to reschedule. I live 45 min away. I asked to reschedule. She sat there looking for longer than it should have taken If she took the time to look all of my appointments are 7:45. She is looking to give me an appointment in the middle of the day. I asked for my 7:45 waited long again. I asked her to schedule me with a different doctor if it is too hard for a appt. With my doctor. She gave me September. As I walked out I looked at her & said the doctor will probably be losing a patient today.I left. Now I’m looking for a NEW Retina specialist.

Absolutely horrible. I went to Dr Ahmed twice for my daughter's eye issue. Both times I was told I only needed to pay my co pay for the specialist which is $40.00 with my insurance now I have a bill of $357.00. For what? I have not been notified of anything? There was no communication what so ever. No transparency or professionalism of letting the patient know. Even after I asked do yall take my insurance. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Worst front desk staff and receptionists period. Wish I would have seen all these bad reviews before driving 30 minutes to get here. I was given a phone call to verify my insurance. The front desk confirmed I was covered for the procedure. Ok after arriving and waiting 30 minutes, turns out the procedure is not covered. Ok…..so I was covered the previous day as they confirmed it, and the day of I am not covered. Ok fine no problem, I agreed to pay out of pocket to get this over with. Oh…..but now the doctor is not doing any surgeries today? What is this mickey mouse operation? So now I have to reschedule? I scheduled the surgery a month ago. How does a doctors office agree to perform a surgery a month in advance and then cannot do the surgery? Do not come here at all. The costs of medical are very high, take your money to a doctor or staff that actually cares about your well being. Not talk down to you. I will go ahead and find a different doctors office.
