A real circus!! The doctor ownes the practice so she doesn't care how over booked and badly the patients are being treated. Find a smaller office that cares about people not just billing!! They lost our referral and almost sent us away without examining my son after being there 2 hours as if it were our fault they lost it!!!

Dr Nelson's office called in a prescription to CVS for an atropine 1% eye drops for my daughter and:
1) prescription shld have never have called into CVS as I found out, her eye drops required compounding by another pharmacy
2) atropine 1% was never intended to be the dosage for my dtr. She needed a much lower dose
3) the technician initially denied that prescription came from dr Nelson until I had CVS pharmacist call them to confirm prescription was called in by her office
4) all technician had to say to me was "Sorry for the inconvenience". How dare you!!!!!!!Inconvenience???? My dtr has been getting the eye drops for 2 weeks until she complained of not being able to see and it's affecting her in school and daily activities. My husband and I have called and spoken to a staff a week ago and we were told a call back from the doctor or assistant in 24hrs but never received a call back!! My call was only returned 1/23 after leaving a long message. Technician initially told me all these side effects are expected as her eyes were dilated until I told her about the dose of 1% she then started looking into my dtr's record and said dr Nelson did not order the atropine and denied prescription came from them! Imagine a mother hearing that!! Thankful for the CVS pharmacist who called their office to confirm that prescription was called in by them. Told me to call him anytime I needed more assistance.
5) if I did not pursue calling this doctor, my dtr wound have continued getting the eye drops thinking it will be helping her fix her vision. Doctor said may take up to a year of using the eye drops. Now tell me what could have happened then to my dtr's eyesight if atropine 1% was used for longer?? How dare you just tell me "Sorry for the inconvenience"!!! Up to now, I have not heard from dr Nelson!!

Why make 730am appointments just for the dr to show up when she feels like it? If it weren't for her being the only pediatric opthamologist my insurance covers I would never come here. Should never keep a child waiting for so long just to take 2 minutes and refer to another doctor.
