This place is an absolute unethical, unprofessional joke of a practice! I went and paid for an rgp/gas permeable contact lens fitting. In the chair everything seemed pretty clear with the lenses they use to get your script. When they came in they fit nothing like nor did I get anywhere near the vision that I did originally. After a few visits, they basically said that's all they could do. When I lost my lens I called and ordered another one and said you know what I need to get refitted for these, it was at this point they told me they could no longer see me due to insurance reasons. I said I don't use my insurance, I use cash. The lady said I know but because of the insurance that you have we can't see you it's illegal for us we could lose our license if we were to get caught seeing you. I said that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard there's no way that's true and I argued with them. So after while I essentially just gave up and went about my business. But the more I thought about it over months and months the more I saw this is wrong and then I've asked every other doctor they said they gave you a line of crap. So just yesterday I called with my new phone number but I'd like to get a gas permeable contact lens fitting. She asked my insurance I told her she's like oh we don't take that insurance. I said oh, can I pay cash you absolutely can what is your name? I said you know what I'm going to call you back in a few. So then I have a text now account today I called with that number I got the same answer. The low vision specialist yesterday told me that I get got a line of crap from them and that they knew that they either screwed up my fitting or couldn't fit me properly so instead of being honest they told me they couldn't see me anymore as a cash patient because of insurance issues. How unprofessional, cowardly and unethical is that? I invite any of you who read this that might work for this garbage place to question me because I would love a public debate, please feel free to call me as well! I promise you I will record the phone call and I promise you I will put it all over the internet! You guys should be ashamed of yourself you're disgusting, pathetic, unethical and completely unprofessional and you absolutely suck

I like my doctor, but this place is filthy. They need a new cleaning crew things should be sterile not looking up and having clumps of dirt on all of the vents the floor was the chair you sit in was disgusting but I did get a call and they said they would take care of it so we shall see when I go back from my other appointment.

While I waited, what I considered a longer than normal time, that was okay because I was able to book an appointment the day of, because of an eye emergency I was dealing with that I knew no urgent care would be able to take care of. The atmosphere is nice and has some office plants. They offer eye protection for dilated eyes if you need it when you leave. Dr. Miller was the most reassuring doctor I’ve ever had in my short 23 years of life, and took time to explain things in the calmest voice and answered all my questions, for my unusual predicament. I do wish some things were explained to me as they were being done (e.g. effects eye dilation since I’ve never had it done before), but nothing too out-of-pocket.
