Do not go here. I wanted to support a local business, but this place is undeserving of your business. Their billing and testing practices are fraudulent. The doctor orders a litany of tests that are expensive and unnecessary. You will pay dearly for them even if you have good insurance coverage. I was recommended an electrolyte beverage to treat my eye strain headaches. The doctor is some kind of fundamentalist Christian and insinuated my birth control was the source of my headaches and that she wanted to ween me off of them. This office and its staff are utterly useless and rely upon your naivete.

As much as I would like to continue to support this business, this eye care office is terrible and I’ve been very patient with them for approx 2 years however, they’ve been inconsistent with the services rendered. They purposely ignore my calls , the admin at the front desk are not good at handling claims and blame their wrongdoings entirely on my insurance company when really they have a large fault in the matter as well. They do not communicate effectively of what is going on until you physically show up at the location. They barely greet you at the door. I ask to speak to the doctor numerous times and Dr Major refuses to give me a call back, admin claiming that Dr. Major is always ‘busy with other priorities and patients’. They just care about referrals and getting paid before hand before providing quality care. You need an appointment to speak with the doctor or to do anything. I’ve had a claim that’s been unpaid for 7 months and counting and I never had this issue with other providers I’ve worked with. I ended up paying out of pocket for ONE PAIR of expensive lenses that are almost $1700 and they refuse to let me know what brand and prescription power they are to this day. They also provide limited alternatives. The admin are also dishonest and I’ve been trying to call them because of an issue I have with these current lenses and no one continues to pick up (RGP lenses are very uncomfortable and easy to damage/lose them). No use in leaving voicemail , it will be ignored. I had to fight my insurance company by myself 90% of the time to figure out the issues at hand and in the mean time, I was barely offered any other solution. I’ve given a lot of grace but this is an honest review and because they are so rude, dismissive and have been treating me poorly since day one, I felt compelled to share their behavior and piss poor management as a business and in customer service.

Dr. Major and her staff are top tier. Dr is amazing with children and so are her staff. Incredibly light and easy going. I like that I don’t feel rushed when I come here. My only note: bring a hoodie the office is a tad chilly. Trust me. Remembering to bring a cardigan is worth the level of professionalism and treatment you’re going to receive. 10/10.
