Dr. Bensinger is terrific, thorough and extremely helpful. Thr office is run efficiently and my calls have been answered timely!

I really like Dr Bensinger but unfortunately will not use this practice any longer. The office is so mismanaged with no proper communication to its customers. My son ordered contacts and got a call on a Friday that his contacts were in. He went to pick them up on Monday, after 5 ( he works) because the website said it was open till 7 pm. It was closed. The next day Tuesday he went during his lunch hour, the office door was open, but the woman who tends to the eyeglasses said the office employees were out to lunch and she could not give him his contacts. On Thursday, my son asked me if I could pick up the contacts. I said sure, went to the office and it was closed. Went home and checked the hours and they should have been opened. I went again on Friday to again find the office closed, at which point I called. The Belleville office answered and informed me that the office has been on vacation since Wednesday. No sign on the door, no notice on the website or on Google, no heads up from the eyeglass lady to my son that the office was going to be closed starting THE NEXT DAY, no heads up from the initial phone call on Friday when they told my son his contacts would be ready. NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER. When I spoke to the office manager Vanessa, I asked her why there wasn’t a sign on the door on Monday that the office would be closed starting on Wednesday? She said, “Oh no we don’t do that” How, HOW, is a customer supposed to know this pretty important information?? NO ONE mentioned it. I pointed out that the hours on the website were incorrect. She said she did not know this but it wasn’t her who would be in charge of that. My family and I will not be going back to this office. Despite the fact I really like Dr Bensiger, the staff, including manager, seems completely oblivious to running the office properly.

Terrible experience – avoid Brought my 2.5-year-old for a 4:30 PM appointment and wasn’t seen until 5:30 — no apology or explanation. After nearly two hours, the doctor did little besides push for surgery (against prior advice) and refer us to an out-of-network specialist. No patience with my toddler, no alternative solutions, and no respect for our time. Won’t be returning.

Made an appointment several weeks ago and was called morning of to be canceled. No thanks.

Friendly staff I was In and out in minutes.Dr.Bensinger and his assistant Tina were professional,courteous and great listeners which for me that goes a long way. There's also a great Glass Hut in the location with hundreds of frames to choose from.

Dr. Bensinger provides excellent care and the staff are very kind!

Horrible service. My daughter had her appointment 3rd week of February, we got her glasses 3rd week of April.

Always professional and Dr. Bensinger always gives great care to my eyes.
