Dr. Owyang and Giselle are always professional, friendly, responsible, reliable, and knowledgeable. Our family has been with her for over 5 years, and have been so grateful to have her as our optometrist. We appreciate her thoughtfulness when considering our individual vision issues, and her thoroughness when making recommendations.

I’ve been seeing Dr Chapman for over 10 years and find her professional, competent and thorough. She takes the time to present options for prescriptions and they adjust the fit of glasses frames for free. I take my prescriptions to get filled elsewhere to save money sometimes and they have never made it difficult to obtain a copy of my prescription. I find their out of pocket rates reasonable though I agree with that other review, if cost is a concern, you should tell the doctor you want to OK the cost before services are provided.

I have had a good experience on past visits with the exception of my most recent visit. Please be aware of that there may be surprise upcharges for services that are not necessary. In my past visits, I did not have any copay as services were fully covered by my insurance. However, on my most recent visit, I had the unpleasant surprise at checkout of being presented with a bill. No advance notice for the additional out of pocket charge was given at any time. I am fine with paying extra for additional services, however a patient should be informed in advance and given the choice to opt into or out of additional services that are not strictly necessary. I will likely continue to see this establishment, but this last experience left me quite disappointed, and I am writing this review so that a similar situation does not happen to others in the future

As a new patient, I took the time to set up an appointment and fill out all the required forms. But just hours later, they canceled my appointment without any call or explanation. It felt really rude and unprofessional.

Quick and easy appointment! The staff was very kind and settled me in immediately. The doctor was gentle and informative. They didn't push me to buy things, and they helped answer my questions. I'll definitely be going back here.

Convenient, good virus precautions, friendly optometrist, good selection of eyewear.
