Very thorough eye exam, did not have to wait very long. Found a condition with my retina in addition to the cataracts I already knew about. Very grateful for their full attention to detail. Will be following up very quickly with a Retina Specialist.

Was pleasantly surprised by the change in doctors when I arrived. I had been scheduled with my regular MD doctor Sunoco. Melissa Centola was awesome. She picked up on a serious eye condition by her questioning and testing The end result uncovering Wet AMD in on of my eyes She then immediately reached out and arranged a consultation for me that same day at Budden Retina. Doctors have all been wonderful. Office staff not so much. Been going here for years. Today I was 10 minutes late for an appointment and they canceled the whole appointment. I called before the appointment started and said I was on my way from work and would be 10 minutes late. The receptionist said no problem. But when I arrived The lady at desk Didn’t even try to work with me. Very disappointing especially since my last appointment I had to wait an hour and half past my appointment time to be seen. I gave you grace, you owe me some.

My visit with Dr. Vincent and his staff was excellent. Everyone was pleasant and professional. I have no complaints and look forward to my next annual visit.

Receptionist told me I had to fill out 10 pages of paperwork even though I’ve been going there for 20 years. She said it was because I hadn’t been there since 2022 which I had been there last year. That was very frustrating. I had a wonderful exam by the technician and the doctor once I got past the front desk

My appointment was at 1:15P. I was there about 12:15 and a lady told me everybody was at lunch. I just sat back to read my book. Come to find out there was a 6 page form that needed before seeing Optomotrist. I did not get even close til after 2P. By the time everything was finished it was 3:00P. I have never as long as I have been going to this office waited so long. Hopefully it will never happen again.

The wait time was a bit much. Overall a good experience. Dr. Songy did a very comprehensive eye exam. I felt cared for and heard. The tech also said my last name correctly which was a good thing.

Doc. Jay is great. Staff is great. He has 4 rooms and runs around in and out. He gets his steps in ! Happy to wait for my eyes to dilate.

I have seen Dr. Kasovich for years and he is great, no complaints there. Sadly, the office staff is very rude, not helpful, and it’s been a hassle each time I need anything other than scheduling an appointment( which is down through automated system now.) my insurance is not accepted anymore here but I continued to go and self pay due to the doctor being great. The staff has been the last straw and I will not be returning. Rude and not helpful for a patient of 10+ years

Besides another stack of paperwork that had to be filled out (I’m a 35+ year returning patient), everything else was great. Was called back in a timely manner & went thru the basic tests as always. Dr. Kasovich, who is very easy to work with and talk to, did his thing and I was out of there. Nice job!

THIS IS AN UPDATE I met Dr. Young and his medical staff on 06/05/2026. There is a tremendous improvement on his medical and administrative staff. Now, very efficient and systematic. Dr. Young, is a professional that know the value of time. With some pleasantries, he is straight to business talk and right to the point. I truly appreciate that. And I left his office very impressed. If you are looking for an excellent eye doctor, I highly recommend him First time that I met Dr. Greg Young. It was a short, concise, and very professional meeting. I was impressed. I will have an update after my 2nd visit in June.

The doctors were personable but the waiting room was packed full and it seemed like everyone including myself was seen much later than our scheduled appointments. I also had to pay more than they told me I’d need to over the phone when I called ahead of time to double check. I personally will be going elsewhere for my eye concerns in the future..

The whole process was efficient and professional. The staff, from reception to surgeon, were all competent., clearly explaining each step as they arose. The results of the surgery were successful and recovery(24 hours since the procedure) has gone great.

Centola was very good! But the office was VERY SMALL AND IT WAS VERY CROWDED. People talking too loudly!! This was a suite in the back towards the left I think Suite 102 or 104 I don’t know it was just very small the only other time I had been there was up in the front and that was spread out and it was nice. Had to wait 45 minutes, what’s new. Drove from Covington so I don’t know if it’s worth my time to go back. If I can find someone over here just as good I’ll probably switch

Most of the staff was very nice. Especially the doctor. Ultimately I had a negative experience. First, I used the link they sent me to fill out my new patient information only to have to repeat the process again on paper when I got there. If they need it on paper there’s no point to have me complete it online as well. Then they billed my medical insurance instead of my vision insurance causing my out of pocket expense to be higher. I did not ask or consent to them billing my medical insurance for my visit. The front employee desk got an attitude with me when I questioned this. I was then told they billed both my medical insurance and vision insurance so I used up my eye exam for the year. I wasn’t even provided a new prescription for lenses so I paid and got nothing in return

Extremely slow process. I’ve never had a two hour annual eye checkup (WITHOUT dilation). The $100 contact lens “fitting” charge seems like a lot. I’m already paying for VSP. It feels like I’m being double charged. Nice staff. But efficiency and affordability are areas in need of improvement.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST OPHTHALMOLOGIST IN AMERICA. GENIUS-LEVEL CARE WITH A GENUINE HUMAN TOUCH. I cannot recommend Dr. Leni Sumich enough. (I've also seen a couple of the other doctors in the practice and they are fantastic as well.) Finding a doctor who is both a brilliant scientist and a compassionate, caring individual is incredibly rare. He is an absolute genius at what he does, but he also has the patience and personality to listen to your concerns and make you feel genuinely heard. And the practice itself? It runs like a Swiss watch. The staff is an incredibly well-oiled machine—seamless, efficient, and professional. I was in and out without a single wasted moment in a waiting room. I was "rocking and rolling" through their systems in no time. They even hooked me up with some free stuff! If you want the best eye care in the world from a doctor who is as kind as he is skilled, this is the place.

Only complaint is that my appointment was for 10:30 and I wasn’t called until 11:00. Once I was in the exam room everyone was great. Both Dr Centola and her assistant were very attentive and good at explaining things so they were worth the wait! Would recommend highly.

I called concerning an issue with my eye. The receptionist was excellent she made me an appointment for the next day and said I will try to get you in sooner. within a short amount of time she called back and had me appointment that day. I was seen by Dr centola. Outstanding excellent professional doctor. very attentive to my issues. Highly recommend her.

“I had an extremely troubling experience at Eyecare Associates with (Dr. Jared Vincent) in Metairie. I went in for a small chalazion issue, instead of just giving me a local anesthetic and taking care of it then. He set it up for a later date at the surgery center, and it was clearly documented that only my left eye was to be treated. Keep in mind nothing was wrong with my right eye, except for the fact that I have rubbed it earlier this morning, and it was a little irritated. Before the surgery, I refused the drugs He tried to push on me are extremely dangerous drugs—propofol and fentanyl—without any screening for interactions. offered by the anesthesiologist, and Dr. Vincent became visibly upset. After that, he worked on my left eye. I thought he was finished, but he then without no warning he aggressively handled my right eye without consent or any anesthesia, despite the written instructions. After that rushed procedure, which took maybe 10 minutes, I then saw a highly trained plastic surgeon independently, who repaired my eye on the spot. My co-pay was only $35, and he used just a local anesthetic—no risky drugs. My eye is now fully repaired. Meanwhile, Dr. Vincent charged my insurance and left me with an extra $435 bill. I still can’t get my billing records. I will attach photos of the damage and the pain I endured was excruciating. I strongly advise anyone considering Dr. Vincent to stay away—this was a dangerous, unprofessional, and unacceptable experience, and I am incredibly grateful to the plastic surgeon who repaired my eye.”

Had an emergency needed to be seen Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving. Got an early appointment with Dr. Barry Leader. He was the absolute BEST! Genuinely concerned and I felt he really cared. Was going to meet me at the office on Black Friday(they are closed) if my eye was not better. He has called to check on me as well. Highly recommend Dr. Leader and the team at Eye Care Associates! 👁 🙂

Dr Vincent and his staff are awesome! Always quick. I never have to wait more than a minute or two. The ladies in his office are very helpful, and he is an outstanding doctor!

Always receive the best of care by Dr Vincent. I came in after cataract surgery and complained of foggy vision. I thought he could simply polish my lens but his excellent staff took pictures as a precaution orders by Dr.Vincent. Thank God Dr Vincent took the extra time as the pictures revealed lack of blood flow to my retina. He immediately set me up with a retina specialist who concurred his findings....they had me up my blood thinners and I became 1 of a few who corrected my vision. My follow up checks show the blood flow has been corrected and he saved my eyesight
