My experience at this clinic was exceptional. Seeking treatment for my eye injury and partial vision loss, Dr. Swati and Dr. Jai provided outstanding care. Their patience, extensive knowledge, and comforting approach were crucial during my visits. I appreciated their ability to address all my questions thoroughly. Visiting both clinic locations (Edison and Woodland Park) throughout the treatment, I consistently encountered a friendly and helpful staff. A special mention to Nita, whose assistance was invaluable. Despite the challenges of my situation, the expertise of the doctors and the support from the entire team made this clinic my top choice for comprehensive eye care. Highly recommend, and deeply grateful for their dedication.

I was referred here for cataract evaluation after a regular eye exam. This is exactly what I said when I made the appointment. I show up for the appointment with my prescription and referral in hand, only to be told that the 'protocol' at Eyecare was to do a complete examination - I.E. all the things that I had already had done 4 weeks earlier at my regular optician and had written results for. I would need a second visit for the cataract evaluation. Aside from the fact that the exam was totally unnecessary and ignoring insurance implications, surely I should have been told about this 'protocol' when I made the appointment. I was not told, so ended up with a frustrating visit - a total waste of time. So be warned - this place gladly accepts referrals, but does not accept results from other places.

I recently visited EyeCare Consultants of NJ and I have to say, I was extremely impressed with my experience. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted warmly by the receptionists who made me feel welcome and comfortable on my first visit. The waiting room was clean and inviting, with plenty of comfortable seating and a variety of reading materials to choose from. I didn't have to wait long before I was taken back to the exam room by the friendly and professional technician. The eye doctor herself, Dr. Payal P. Patel was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything in detail. What I appreciated the most was her extreme patience with my questions and concerns as this was my first ever eye doctor visit. She thoroughly answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease throughout the entire exam. She was able to accurately diagnose my vision issues and recommend the appropriate treatment plan. Overall, I would highly recommend this eye doctor office to anyone in need of vision care. The staff is friendly and professional, the facilities are clean and comfortable, and the level of care provided by Dr. Payal is top-notch. I left feeling confident that my eye health is in good hands.
