Wow! I wish I would have read the reviews before I went! That old man is the worst! I don't know how old he is but he needs to retire already! He's rough and rude. I didn't even let him finish my eye exam because he yelled at me and was a total ass****! I started crying and told him I was leaving. I'm glad I read all these reviews because now I know it wasn't just me being sensitive. What is he? Like 80?? Time to retire. This place was a total nightmare. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Stopped in to check on getting an eye exam. Then optometrist was standing at counter. I asked about making an appointment. He couldn’t hear me and was not understanding what I was asking. He didn’t seem to understand anything I was saying? Did not stay and did not set up appointment. I’m glad after reading reviews I didn’t stay.

Dr. Reiter is extremely rude! I've been there twice and there was no difference. He will talk down to you at every answer you give him about your eye sight, previous experiences, and what you are wearing now if he didn't provide it for you. The front desk is very unprofessional, something I didn't experience the first time I went. Definitely the last time I go there.

Avoid this place like the plague!! The staff is great don't get me wrong. But Dr Reiter is very rude and snaps at you for anything. Forget even asking him about any questions you have. I went a while back and I'll never go back as long as he is there. Makes me mad just thinking of my experience. He needs to let someone else take over already. Someone with people skills.

Horrible experience with this doctor. He was extremely aggressive and made me and my son feel incompetent and very uncomfortable. He tried to force my son with eye drops by grabbing him forcefully by the arm and sticking his fingers in his eyes, all without gloves during the pandemic! As my son was in tears I ripped him out of the chair as the doctor yelled “yeah you go somewhere else where they don’t know what they’re doing!”. A doctor is someone we should be able to trust, and he did quite the opposite. My son doesn’t want to get his eyes checked anymore. This guy desperately needs to retire. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Im reading these reviews and everybody seems to hate this guys practice . he was so nice the only "problem" i would say is he asks if u have any questions and u ask it and he doesnt really hear you when u ask he has alittle bit of hearing trouble but im a loud speaker anyway so it wasnt hard for him to hear me until i was out of the exam chair . other than that he was professional . kind. Straight to the point and never once said anything bad about me or the type of insurance i have im just waiting on my glasses to be made .we didnt waste eachothers time with unnecessary questions our comments

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! The old Dr needs to go....Rude, unprofessional, harrasing my child. Kept telling my son to stop squinting...he said it so many times that I even told him that is a natural reflect, but still kept telling my son that. He wanted "YES' or "NO" answers to questions like "Which one is better...this one or this one? when changing the lenses...I had to tell him you cant answer yes or no...But still he was insisting for a yes or no. He evenb threaten my child " If you dont stop Squinting I will put Nasty Drops in your eyes"....YEAH righ Psycho in your dreams!!! I dont know if we were there for 5 or 10 minutes...whatever time was it was way toooooo long...it definitely felt like an hour. And to top it off he was refusing to give me back my child's glasses!!! I had to ask for them 3 times because he kept telling me he was not taking anything....DO NOT GO THERE....He is definitely not mentally well to think that anyone should take his attitude. I think is a combination of rudeness, anger issues and old age. He needs to GO!!!!

Bought two pairs of glasses here in the spring. Like 700 cash. My pair lasted two months and my sons lasted 5. Went back to have my sons fixed because they just fell apart and was told they’d look into it and i would get a call after the weekend. No call so I stopped in to see as my son needs his glasses for school....nothing. They hadn’t done anything. That really makes me mad. Folks running businesses should take care of their customers. If they want them as customers...

Honestly if u all invested in some hearing aids then it wouldn’t be so bad and you all would come off as being rude. Thank god for Chris who was very helpful. and intervened while he needed too. Other then the unable to hear us then would be good and or great service

Worst place ever! I wish I can give this place zero stars! Dr. Morris Reiter is so unprofessional, and held my prescription hostage until he got paid. Even after I told him, that he got paid, and I needed my prescription, he told me I can go elsewhere and get a new prescription. Very terrible service and I regret ever going there.

OMG this doctor has personality issues. Very Rude as one of the other reviews states. If you have have a crazy sense of humor, it is kinda comical. Had to get my glasses redone...they came back still not right and he says there's nothing he can do now. So I'm out $$$

I would give less if there was an option. I waited 5 weeks for my 'trial' contacts only to be told upon walking in and asking that they were never ordered. They wont give the prescription so I paid for nothing. Save time and money amd go somewhere else...anywhere else.

Do not go here! The doctor is rude, unprofessional, mean. He is very old and and can hardly hear your answers and when he doesnt he thinks your not answering and then yells at you! Worst experience Of my life, felt anxious the whole exam as he kept shoving the eye machine hurtfully onto my face. I Will be getting a second eye exam done somewhere else since i feel it was not done properly. Waste of my time. I should have gone with my gut feeling and walked out mid exam. He needs to retire!

I do not recommend this place at all, Dr Reiter is very rude and not patient at all. I went twice because i had no option since this is the only place i found that covers our insurance. What the reviews say is 100% accurate.

Worst place to get an eye exam. Rude doctor, rude receptionist. After everything was finish he gave me a wrong prescription, and now refuse to give me a new one unless I pay again. Just avoid it and go to lenscrafters.

This was a horrible experience! Not only was the Dr rude, he couldn't even place the exam machine on my eyes, he had it on my forehead, my eyebrows and when I told him this he blamed me for not sitting still, the 4th try he shoved the machine right into my left eye....I was outta there.

I bought a pair of glasses there and within 5 months something on the lenses started to peel- I took them back and the technician said that they could not replace the lenses and claimed that the peeling was actually scratches- odd shaped scratches!

worst doctor ever. he smells bad and has a bad attitude. the staff is rude as well, because he treat them as $hit as well. i did an eye exam and i was gonna quite half way because of his rudeness. he was rude to other patients as well. i asked for a sample contacts just so i can find the one i'm comfortable with before you buy them, they refuse and said we charge $15 for samples, the whole pack is like 20 with 5 contacts in them !! why do you charge for samples that you got for free from the company which is part of their promotion for their products?!! you are not suppose to resell them! avoid at all cost.

If you want to get scolded and belittled this is the place to go. I was just trying to get an eye exam with contacts and glasses and my insurance just covered the glasses exam, he proceeded to tell me that I get a break with my insurance paying for the exam and that my insurance doesn't even pay the full price he usually asks for. I kept on explaining to him money is not the issue and kept on belittling me and was so rude and unprofessional. He told me he would need my old prescription for my contacts in order to get a new one and nothing was said over the phone. Do not waste your time here. I recommend going to Larry Davis, inexpensive, respectful, and kind.

The eye Dr. Was discussing how bad was VSP insurance and it's the insurance I had. Wow, close the door and have that conversation behind closed doors. I believe from reading the reviews, this eye doctor should retire and go on a vacation.
