Since I never received a response to my original email sent to your company, I decided to copy it here.
I did not want to put this on a review but wanted your company to know that I recently had an eye exam at your clinic in Flowood. I saw Dr. Sorey. Afterwards I took my prescription to Walmart to get new glasses. I could not see at all, and so I took them back and Walmart replaced them. I still couldn't see and so I took the new glasses back to your clinic and they checked them there against the prescription that I had been given. I was assured that they were only slightly off axis, but I just needed to adjust to them
After wearing them for a couple of days, not being able to adjust to them, I called your clinic to possibly have my exam redone and they did not agree to a redo exam, but said that with my "rather mature" cataracts this is the best I would be able to see until I had them removed, which should be done within a few months.
I then made an appointment with Dr. Brannon Aden and was told that this prescription was quite incorrect. After having the refraction done, Dr. Aden checked and said my cataracts were visually insignificant and I shouldn't have to worry about them for quite a while. I took the prescription they gave me to Precision Opticals and when he checked the glasses I had gotten from Walmart his thought was that they, Walmart, had probably filled the prescription correctly, but that the original prescription written by your clinic had been very incorrect.
Since the refraction was done by a technician I would say that person needs some extra training, and to find out that my cataracts were not needing to be removed as I was told, I would place the question to Dr. Sorey as to why she said I needed to have them removed.
In the meantime I have spent almost $300 for glasses I cannot use and am now spending nearly $600 to have the correct prescription filled. Since I have already used my vision allowance for the year, my insurance will not pay again, so I am left paying twice for glasses so I can see correctly.
I will not be coming back to your clinic and will advise anyone who asks that they should not go there either. If I were to give your clinic a rating, it would definitely be zero. If I thought it would make a difference I would ask for a refund of the nearly $300 I spent for the glasses from the original prescription that are useless.

Since receiving my new glasses from Precision Opticals I can see better than I have in years. Thanks to Dr. Aden, the tech who did my refraction so perfectly at Mississippi Vision, and Precision Opticals.

I have been a patient for a number of years. My husband and I have always had the best of care with all of the doctors. At my last visit Dr. Jones mentioned to me that I could use an online pharmacy to fill an expensive prescription. He told me that Erin would take care of it for me. After several days without the needed prescription, I called and left a message for Erin to call me. And another message. And another message 2 weeks later. I’ve yet to hear from Erin—or the prescription.

Dr. Jeffries removed my cataracts in 2021 and I will be forever grateful. My eyesight is perfect! (I drive 2.5 hours each way from my home to EyeCare Professionals. Worth every minute!)
