The office staff was pleasant, my appt was on time and everything ran efficiently. While I've been with EyeHealth NW for over 20 years, this was my first visit to their Hillsboro office. Dr. Tse was thorough and enthusiastic. Clearly this is my new eye care office!

I've always been pleased with their eye care and service. My family have been with them for several years. My main complaint is with their online appointment request system. Rather than allowing you to see what times are available and pick one. You request a time and hope that it's available. If it is not available then they will simply choose another day and time for you. Then you have to reschedule that appointment to a time you actually are able to come in. This is annoying and wastes both customer and staff time.

My girlfriend had an appointment with Dr. Johnson. She had lots of great things to say. I could even hear her laugh as the appointment was going so it was obvious that she had built a good rappor with the optometrist. As I waited in the waiting area, the receptionist was very kind and asked if I needed anything while I sat there. I know my girlfriend would recommend this office and staff to anyone and so would I. I am also due for an eye appointment so I’m sure we will be contacting them soon!

As a first time patient at Eye Health Northwest, I wasn't sure what to expect. From the moment I walked in the door, my experience was wonderful. The receptionist, ophthalmic tech, and Dr. Johnson were all friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My exam was thorough and they made sure I was 100% happy with my vision. The experience was great and I'll definitely be back.

Very easygoing team who are great at what they do! It's refreshing to have any kind of medical appointment start on time and finish without delay, but that's consistently been my experience with EyeHealth Northwest. Plus, cute glasses frames and great selection of sunglasses.

Like many others with strabismus, I had no idea that anything could be done to fix it. Especially for those like me who are senior citizens. Prisms were not working and my regular eye doctor referred me to Dr Sabah for a consult and exam. I immediately felt she understood my situation and even better, she was confident that she could correct it with eye muscle surgery. She took the time to help me understand the surgery and answered all of my questions. After talking with her and doing some research I decided to have the surgery. Long story short, I am extremely happy with the results. I awoke from the surgery no longer seeing double and the recovery was faster than I expected. I am now one month since surgery and it’s been years since my vision was this clear. Prism is no longer needed in my glasses. Dr Sabah is amazing. Thank you for your skills, your patience and for giving me my vision back.

I was about ten minutes early when I walked in the ladies were having a good laugh sounded nice to hear a laugh during these covid days, just a few minutes to wait then off to the exam room, very friendly staff during exam then the doc came in also very friendly. This was a great relaxing visit.

Staff was very helpful and the Doctor did an excellent job explaining all findings as she did the examination. The Optometrist did a great job in helping me select the most useful frames and lens type. I was very happy with my experience as a first time client.

I wish I could review the quality of their services but how can you when they choose not to respond to messages? I messaged them on more than one occasion regarding an eye exam and either received a minimal "canned" response that did not address my issue/questions or NO response at all to my recent follow-up inquiry. Based on this, I would say look for another provided who takes some semblance of pride in their customer service and dedication to their patients.

My double vision is gone! Dr. Sabah accurately diagnosed the cause and identified which muscles she needed to adjust and did it with one surgery! I had previously been told that it would take multiple surgeries or that it couldn’t be repaired at all. Her knowledge, expertise and skill are truly amazing! She told me what to expect and was true to her word. Her staff are very professional, respectful and helpful. Thank you!

Jona Johnson, OD is one of the best optometrist I've seen. Her exams are thorough and her refraction precise. She personalized my vision needs by discussing my daily activity and the visual demands of my job. Her technician and front office staff are wonderful! Highly recommend them all.

Normally a great experience. Will never go back for how I was treated when trying on my new pair of glasses. Continually harassed for bringing mask down to the tip of my nose to see how the glasses felt without interference from top of mask. Very unprofessional, quite a b itch

Dr Cse is great! I needed to be seen quickly and the clinic got me right in and put my mind at ease that everything was ok. I buy my glasses here and have regular check ups as well. Great office, nice selection of frames and friendly staff.

I went to Dr. Johnson for an annual eye exam, and would recommend her to everyone. She was extremely professional, answered all of my questions, and explained my eye behavior to me in ways that no other doctor had. I learned things about my eyes that I didn't even know I was wondering about! I left with three weeks of trial contact lenses, and a great deal in purchasing my annual supply through the clinic. I didn't need new frames while there so I can't speak to the selection, but can speak to the service. Renee was super friendly and very helpful in getting my lenses replaced, add-on recommendations, the works. Thanks, EyeHealth Northwest, for the great service and taking care of my eyes!

Got my referral processed that day and got me in that day for an appointment. The staff are amazing and treated me like they wanted my buisness. The doctor was amazing and treated me with care. I would defiantly come back again and would refer my friends and family here.

This office is wonderful, and Dr. Johnson is very thorough. I could tell she had already familiarized herself with my patient history, so her questions were insightful without the redundancy that you sometimes experience when doctors haven't done their research about you! I have been a patient for many years, and would recommend this office and Dr. Johnson to everyone.

I went in to update my prescription and purchase a new set of glasses. The appointment was very professional and Dr. Johnson provided great insight into eye health. I am extremely particular about the lenses and fit of my glasses and the front of the house has been incredibly helpful and gone way beyond the call of duty. Beyond that, everyone is friendly and cheerful! Eyehealth Northwest has consistently provided great service and I will certainly be returning for all my optic needs!

I am a senior citizen and I had some complications with glaucoma and need for cataract surgery. I absolutely adore Dr Sabah for her gift of sight for me. Dr Sabah’s skills, knowledge, insights, personality and overall professionalism was phenomenal. I will forever be grateful for her thorough and precise attention to my medical needs and challenges. I enthusiastically recommend her to have your optical needs tended by her! 🦋

Great staff. Had my eye exam here and I have great confidence in them. But when it comes time to buy frames and lenses, do yourself a very big favor and buy online. The prices for frame and lenses here are absurd and insulting.

I was seeing Dr. Jona Johnson every two weeks to get my eyelashes plucked for several months. She was very understanding, very friendly, and great at her job. They were able to get me scheduled quickly and recommended future treatment without pressure. Highly recommend!

The staff and doctors are so kind and respectful of your time. I have been going there for years and have never been left waiting, or not been able to get an appointment time and date that I needed. The office is also very clean with a good selection of glasses.

Great support staff and optometrist. Appointments are always scheduled easily at times that are convenient for me. I've never had a long wait time or had any difficulties with scheduling, billing, etc. They have limited parking but I've never had a hard time finding a spot on the street if the lot is full. The location is super convenient in North Portland on Lombard right off I-5/Interstate. I highly recommend Eye Health NW, especially this location.

My experience at Eye Health Lombard is the worst I have ever experienced. Three months after my initial appointment I finally have usable glasses by firing them, eating the charges and getting a second opinion which resulted in functional glasses in a week. I still don't have contacts since it takes weeks or a month for Lombard to get trial contacts and they are still "tweaking" the prescription. So I am writing off contacts. No customer service, do not listen, hidden charges.

They sold me a cheap pair of frames...Flexon...$35, everywhere else online...and charged me $350, on top of what my insurance paid. I know, I got the scratch protection and they were progressives, but when I said "hey, that's a lot of money in addition to my insurance coverage", the lady said "those are $1500 glasses!". I should have listened to my instincts, and just left. They don't give you the full prescription, either, just some of the numbers. For example, they don't include the PD when they give you the printout of your prescription. So, the glasses work, and everyone was friendly, but they absolutely will gouge your checkbook. I was so disappointed at the borderline criminal price-gouging that I cancelled my eye insurance, and vowed never, ever to use this place ever again. Buyor beware, you will be slaked over the coals at this place.

I get home from work last Friday to find a bill of almost 800.00 in my mailbox. for one eye exam, follow up, and a late fee. for procedures that were done LAST YEAR. Eight months ago to be exact. And this is the first time I have received any sort of communication. When I booked my appt. I checked, double checked and triple checked that they took my insurance, when I went in I confirmed again with the front desk person and the assistant and the person who gave me the exam, all said yes. That was in Nov, 2022. I had to go back in for a follow up in Dec, 2022 and was told that my vision ins. probably would not cover this visit and they would submit to my medical (the doctor herself told me this), Now if my Insurance hadn't been accepted in Nov, why didn't they say something...like hey lady you owe us money. I called Eyehealth NW, and of course they are closed, nothing new there (the branch is closed for good). The answering machine says they are having issues working with my Ins. company. This is a very new recording, and the very first time I heard it. I called my Ins. company and double checked on line this/these bills were NEVER submitted to claims. This particular branch is the pits, I won't speak about the other locations but my suspicions are that they are all run poorly. Now Today I get to call and argue with them. I already sent the bill back to them with my Ins. info on it telling them to resubmit. We'll see how far that gets me. I do plan of filing a formal complaint with the BBB, and the Opthamolgy medical board

This place is amazing! Most specifically Dr. Chan-Kai is phenomenal. On June 21st I found out I had to have an emergency retinal detachment repair in my left eye. I was terrified, but Dr. Chan-Kai and his assistant Cory were so amazing in explaining everything to me. On June 23rd I had my surgery at St. Vincent’s. I can’t explain enough how relieved I am to know I was in the best hands for having to have this procedure done. I went to my post op appointment today and he says it’s looking pretty good all thanks to his excellent work. I highly recommend him if you have to have anything done, especially if it’s an emergency. I’m amazed at their level of care! The only thing bad I experienced was an hour wait time, but it’s definitely worth it when you’re in great hands! Thank you so much!

I went for a routine eye exam. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Same for the person who did the initial testing--personable and friendly. Dr. Mindy Ta was wonderful--easy to relate to, clear in her explanations, responsive to my questions, cheerful, friendly, and very competent. I highly recommend this eye health center.

I've been a patient for several years. All of the ladies in the office and the exam room are highly professional and I highly recommend this office, in Orenco Station, in Hillsboro.

Dr. Jona Johnson is amazing! She is not only extremely knowledgeable, but she is friendly, professional and was very thorough in explaining my contact care and eye health. She even sat with me and helped while I attempted to put my contacts in for the first time! Before my visit, I haven’t had an eye exam in years and she made the entire process so easy and painless. Super friendly staff is a bonus! They were very fast and efficient when it was time for a new prescription for my contacts. Highly recommend seeing Dr. Johnson!!
