Eye Health Northwest - Providence has cared for my eyes for 8 years. Dr. Brown (now retired) and Dr. Sanders have treated my eyes to my great satisfaction. Both ever watchful for potential glaucoma with regular testing and prescriptions, as well as other treatments to best control the condition. Both highly professional and pleasant. I never doubted I receive the best care possible.

As previously, my experience at Eye Health NW-St. Vincent’s was excellent. Dr. Boulter saw me for the first time, and his care was superb. He was thorough, communicative, personable, and efficient, and I felt that he genuinely understood my eye problem and concerns about the situation. Thank you, Dr. Boulter and staff, for your exemplary patient care!

Care was very good at this practice. My only reason for only rating them with 4 stars is because they always ran behind. I was there almost 1hour for a simple eye pressure check. I had a first appointment of the afternoon and still had to wait almost 30 minutes to see the doctor

I was scared to see another doctor at nw eye health because my experience in April 2026 was pretty bad. Yesterday 8/24 I had my appointment at 3pm and was out by 3:40 which is totally fine by me. Doctor Balish was very helpful and made me feel comfortable. Would recommend him for other people’s eye appointments.

I didn’t have to wait very long to be called back. The tech was efficient and friendly, and I felt like I was in capable hands seeing the doctor.

Incompetence. After being referred by the insurance company, we called the clinic office to make sure there was coverage. EyeHealth fully confirmed this and set an appointment. At arrival the story changed. The insurance continued to say they would cover the service but EyeHealth refused to bill for it. An optometrist at the clinic talked with us and could only offer placating language noting how wrong the situation is but was impotent to help. I never thought I would see the day where the insurance is saying they will pay but the clinic refuses to bill.

I liked Tyler and Tanner, his assistant. They both had good vibes and made it a little less uncomfortable to have my eyes examined. The front desk staff …that’s another story. I hate to be the one that points out unprofessionalism but the guy that fits people for glasses, the one that was there on June 30th. He was behind the desk, sitting on the counters, talking to the staff, and he was keeping three of them distracted in conversation. It was all conversation about their personal lives.. First of all, I think it’s incredibly unsanitary for people to sit on medical counters I think that’s kind of disgusting. Second, no wonder it takes so long to get someone in the phone. Receptionist, (red and black nails) she didn’t bother to smile back at me or say hi back when I greeted her. But as soon as she was done with me, she was happy to go back to talking to the group about how she had been there nine years and blah blah blah. Anyway, my expectations for the doctor were pretty low based on the front desk staff. But doctor Tyler turned out to be a good and thoughtful and he explained things well, and he listened well.

I was so pleasantly surprised by Dr. Balish and his kind, respectful, compassionate demeanor. I would recommend him to anyone I know.

The service was great! My eye was irritated and the doctor was able to get me in quickly. I highly recommend!

Kelsey was wonderful and went out of her way to explain procedures to me. However, when I was complete and checking out, I was told it was first come first serve at the contact lens department. To take a seat and they would come and get me. Which I did. iIn the meantime, another customer Entered the department and was helped immediately. After waiting approximately 15 minutes in the lobby and another 15 minutes to actually being helped. A half hour waiting for Contact lens order is not acceptable. Customer service to me.

I was from out of town and their office got me in an emergency basis and went out of their way to take care of my issues. I have never encountered such kindness and professional treatment. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Balish.

Had a contact lens exam with prescription. All around pleasant experience, no issues. Recommended

These people really understand that my time is valuable! From the moment I arrived, throughout the appointment and after they completed my eye exam every person here seemed to genuinely care! Grateful!

Doctor Tyler was very good very professional and is great at communication . He made me feel at ease , he was very helpful he looked at my exams and he said I need glasses right away. I had gone there with blurry , a duffel vision , due to a health scare , but he reassured me that my health is fine so I felt at ease , and I just needed glasses due to my astigmatism . He got right to the point. The other Staff there are very professional and nice and great too .

Had a great experience with Dr Boulter. He was friendly, efficient and explained everything clearly.

Dr Balish is the best! He did my cataract surgery and implanted fabulous new lenses - no more glasses! And he keeps my dry eyes healthy too. Highly recommend him!

Extremely profesional! Exceptional bedside manners! Very gentle and patient! I went in with a scary emergency, and Doctor Balish took all the time in the world to make sure he finds out what’s going on! He even brought in second opinions from other colleagues doctors from his office to make sure that everything he sees is accurate. He reassured me that everything will be alright! He scheduled a follow up and also made a plan in case things will happen before the next following appointment. He took the time to listen to all my concerns and made sure I understood what’s happening and what can be done! I left the office very assured and clear of the plan ahead and mostly that I was in good hands and in the end everything will be alright! Highly recommend him! If they were to have 10 stars, he would earn All of them!

Tanner and Dr. Boulter were extremely kind and patient to my parents whose English wasn’t their first language. As someone who works in medical field, seeing my parents getting taken care of by someone who is competent with compassion really makes me feel heartwarming! Also the front desk staffs were extremely nice!

Dr. Balish and his assistants, Tyler and Jason, were very careful and kind during my cataract assessment. Everything was checked and double-checked, all procedures and insurance costs fully explained. It's obvious why they have such great reviews.

Dr. Sanders is the absolute best! He is very thorough - asking lots of questions and explaining everything in detail. He is also a great listener. It is worth the long drive to have him as my doctor!

Dr. Boulter worked me in for a sudden onset of eye pain and I am so grateful. He evaluated my eyes and reassured me that it’s nothing serious. This means a lot to me. Our vision is so important to our experience of life! I really appreciate Dr. Boulder’s expertise and dedication.

As always, friendly staff from start to finish. Dr. Sanders was kind, patient and provided detailed information in an easy to understand way. Have gone to this clinic for many years and highly recommend.

Dr Boulder is very friendly, and knowledgeable. He was on time for my appointment with him. I like that he didn't rush and he made sure, I understood everything he told me! I left his office with confidence in him and the pending surgery he is going to perform!

I received incredible care. The exam was very thorough and Dr Balish was kind, professional and explained everything so it was easily understandable. The medical assistant and office staff were great too.

I really enjoyed my visit to the place; very friendly and professional. I especially appreciated Monica's pre-processing and patience with a willingless to be particularly engaging and communicative. And Dr. Boulter's friendly yet professional demeanor is also very nice, along with his openness about explaining things I asked about and had no hesitation translating from acronyms to full phrases to translation of just what that phrase meant! Very much enjoyed everyone in the office... Met lots of the staff in my various adventures between machines, rooms and procedures. Excellent Team. They must be well remunerated and listened to, when an office runs this flawlessly! Super impressive!!

Knowledgeable, kind, thorough physician, Dr Sanders is the best! Caring and competent staff. Lovely facility. Dr Sanders never makes me feel like he is rushing and is compassionate and has a pleasant sense of humor. Eager to explain and answer questions I might have.

I had an incredible experience yesterday for my eye and contact appointment, it was my first time back at the optometrist on my own insurance plan and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and patient with me. Caroline and Dr. Peterson were both amazing, they made me feel welcome and went the extra mile to ensure what coverage I may have with my new plan, all with an extremely positive attitude. I will happily make this location my go-to spot and would recommend it to anyone who's looking for an optometrist!

Dr Sanders is the best Dr. He was very through in his exam of my 82 year mom . I found him very knowledgeable and above all curious to find the root cause of issue. I am totally impressed and being a science student with research …

My deaf 91-year-old father has been coming to Dr Every single for a few years. He’s very patient and kind to my father and very though. He also did an eye Cataract surgery for my dad a few years ago and it was successful! I definitely recommend him

I was very happy with my appointment at EyeHealth NW Providence St Vincent. The staff was very kind & helpful with a quick check in process. I was given a very through eye examination. Dr. Boulter was very professional & kind. He listened to all my concerns & questions providing answers & explanation of all the test they ran. I’ve used reading glasses for years & with the test that Dr Boulter did it shows I need to now wear prescription glasses. Needless to say I definitely could see so much better with his recommendation. So I’m 100% happy with my appointment & Dr Boulter is a Wonderful ophthalmologist & the staff was very kind & courteous. I highly recommend & look forward to my annual appointment next year.

Dr. Kelsey is an absolute delight. She explained every step of the eye exam. I knew what was happening and why. She answered all of my questions and guided me through my treatment program. Five stars aren’t enough.
