My new favorite place for glasses, my frames had a crack & were replaced within a week free of charge, as per their 1cyr warranty, they're very professional & great all customers with a smile immediately upon entering, I'd highly recommend them.

Lana is wonderful she is knowledgeable sweet . The quality she sells , you can’t get any better I can’t wait to get another pair !

I had a great experience here. The eye Doctor gave me a very thorough exam and helped me with glasses and contacts. I was having a hard time with close up vision while wearing glasses and contacts. I got progressive lenses and I am IN LOVE. I was also able to get contacts that I can now wear and read with. Plus, Elena helped me pick out glasses and sunglasses 😎 Elena doesn’t sell you glasses if she doesn’t think they look good on you and she has all the top designers. I highly recommend Eyes on Island.

Absolutely happy with my new pair of glasses! I am a student who spend 10-12 hours in front of computer almost every days. Lately I noticed dramatic changes in vision when I study and when I drive. My eyes were always tired and red at the end of the day. I was getting slight headache and feel exhausted with my vision! With all this complaint I knew I need to update my prescription and new pair of glasses. Visit to Elena’s “Eye on Island” store last week, Dr Lisa was very thorough and excellent during the exam, Tom was amazing and very helpful to find a frame for me- Elena is outstanding professional who sincerely love her job and agree to spend time as long as customer needs- Together with a great team we matched a beautiful pair of glasses that emphasized my facial features! After wearing beautiful glasses I feel less stress and No more tiredness and redness on my eyes! I feel fabulous🤩! Thank you! Well done !

Broke my glasses the day before a week long vacation out of the country. They were able to find a pair of frames that fit the existing lenses from the broken glasses and shave them down a bit to fit. New glasses are great and they did it all in an hour. Thank you!

I have been coming here a little over 2 years. Elena & Tom are so helpful and always make sure to find me the perfect glasses. They have a beautiful selection and Everytime I get a new pair I get a lot of compliments. The doctor is very professional and they always have me in & out in minimal time. I would highly recommend Eyes On Island for any eyeglass needs. I also have had my glasses repaired in 10 minutes when the nose piece has fallen off. They are great. Thank you Elena & Tom!!!

Just want to warn union members that this place does not honor their agreements with your plan. They will pad your charges. Union members especially take note! Do not patronize this establishment

The woman with reddish hair who I take to be the owner is extremely rude. She cuts you off as your speaking and doesn’t let you finish a sentence. I went there to let her know the glasses I purchased there may have the wrong prescription because I see blurry with them. I then intended to purchase a different pair out of pocket because I wasn’t due for another with my insurance. Figured I’ll give them another try instead I walked out on her because I couldn’t stand the thought of giving her another penny. She became very defensive for absolutely no reason. She acts knowledgeable but says whatever it takes to sell you a pair of glasses. There are many other places on the Island to purchase glasses that are better than Eyes On Island. They’re eyes are only on your cash. Two thumbs down to this place.

Went there back in December 2018 I have VSP coverage best coverage ever they sold me a low end frame plus they gave me a stronger prescription that gave me a headache went to an eye doctor in the City and today i purchased two nice high end frames for a really decent price. I am going to tell people never to go there.

place is a fraud. lady told me my money was not welcome bc i was being a well informed consumer asking about my frame prices which i wanted to purchase through her anyways. asked me to leave and wasnt interested in any business from me. Tom however is the MAN. HE is the singular reason why i went there in the first place. Too bad he doesnt have more skin in the game there because he truly is a customer service person.

I usually read reviews before I make appts. About a month ago, my father in law got glasses from them and he was happy. Then I needed to check my eyes and decided to come to the same place ( even though some reviews were not that good). To make this review shorter, my mother in law and I came in today and even though we were little bit late, the staff was very understanding, very polite, friendly and very professional. Checked our vision, listened to my concerns about pain after the car accident, helped to pick glasses that would fit us well. They even fixed my old glasses that were loose on me( no charge!) I would highly recommend this place and not surprised at all that they were having so many customers walking in. However I was surprised that the lady in the front remembered a customer from 10 years ago!!! ( overheard them talking while I was checking out the glasses). Must be nice to come back after 10 years and be recognized as a valued customer!

Wow terrible! Called about information for contacts and she said "we don't give information so no need to ask. Come in or I can't help you." Why would I waste my time to come to the store if you can't even tell me if you sell a certain product. I am a bit shocked by this service! Just wow...

I’ve been going to Eye on Island for 15 years, and I can’t recommend them enough. My entire family has always had wonderful experiences there. The staff is incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating, and they never make you feel rushed—especially when you’re taking your time picking out the perfect pair of lenses or frames. They truly care about making sure you’re comfortable and happy with your visit. I wouldn’t trust my eye care to anyone else!

I highly recommend Eyes on Island. I am extremely happy with the customer service I receive from Elena and Tom. I was recently examined by Dr. Lisa there for contact lenses. She was very gentle, friendly and professional and answered all of my questions. Elena trained me in applying and removing the contacts in the most patient and encouraging way. She also answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease.

The staff is great and and very helpful! The whole atmosphere radiates positive energy!
