I went in to eyes on the city to purchase a pair of glasses. The customer service is impeccable and I appreciate the time and effort the staff put in to finding me the most perfect glasses for my face shape. One of the best experience I had at a clinical setting in a long time!

Great staff — Cat & Orion helped me find the best pair of glasses in less than 20 min! These are the best glasses I've ever had. Highly recommend Eyes on the City! After these new pair of glasses, I was getting so many looks! :)

I brought an existing prescription in to Eyes on the City to have them make a new pair of glasses for me. They have a very good selection of frames, including being one of the few Seattle stockists for Masunaga, an excellent Japanese maker. EotC did a great job measuring for my progressive prescription and the finished pair of glasses is perfect. Would highly recommend.

This was the most thorough eye exam I’ve ever had! The clinic seems to have great technology and a connected staff which made for a seamless appointment, considering that they were very busy when I was there. Dr. Mendoza was knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. I was given recommendations for dry eye that had never been recommended, and that are very non-invasive (ie. Heat compress, eyelid wash). I’ll definitely be going back.

I brought the kids (and myself) for checkups. The service was excellent, we waited less than 5 minutes for our appointments. They did find eye issues with my kids, who had been complaining for a while about their eyesight, but their previous optometrist said they were fine. Overall a good experience.

Recently got exam and ordered glasses from eyes on the city. The Optometrist was professional, but the eye glass purchase felt pressured. I was unsure of what I wanted and was never told that no changes can be made to frame style once ordered. Had second thoughts and called the next day to get them to hold my order but they didn’t respond for 3 days and by then the lenses were already made by the optical lab. They refused to work with me and told me there was nothing they could do. This is poor customer service. I know for a fact that most labs will allow at least one redo, but eyes on the city would not make the effort to try. For a $700 purchase I expected better. I will never do business here again and I advise you to shop elsewhere. Eyes on Fremont much better customer service. They are more laid back and helpful. I don’t usually write negative reviews but want people to know what they are getting into.

I've been to many optical boutiques and optometry offices in the area, and this is one you should avoid. Expensive, low quality frames, incompetent staff (especially Brenna) and just bad communication. They don't care about their customers. Whenever I confronted the staff about my situation, they seemed very defensive and came up with excuses rather than hearing me out and being respectful. Lastly, I get that everyone needs to make money somehow, but purchasing eyewear from this place felt so pressured and rushed.

Be cautious with this business. I had an appointment a year and a half ago and they wouldn’t process my secondary insurance, so I chose to find another optometrist. I’m now receiving letters in the mail from the insurance company stating Eyes on the City did not submit their paperwork in time, so my visit will not be covered and I owe $245 for the visit. This has never happened to me in decades of optometrist visits. I don’t have time/energy to track these issues and make sure my medical providers submit claims on time. I already wasn’t going to return, but now I feel compelled to let others know their issues.

If you don't give Eyes on the City a 5-star review you must not have ever been to another ophthalmologist. I'm simply blown away by the service, efficiency and in-depth examination of eye health. SUPER impressed.

I have had the same Optometrist for over 25 years and found Eyes On The City in my neighborhood. They have great hours and the facility is very clean. I was seated on time and had one on one time with Dr. Craddock to answer all my questions. I highly recommend Eyes On The City!

Very professional and state-of-the-art equipment and willing to work with my crazy schedule. They were able to see exactly how my rigid contact lenses were fitting with the amazing eye photography machine they had, and were able to figure out what was wrong with my fitting and get them remade perfectly. Highly recommend.

Every time I visit the staff are always fantastic. From the front desk through the optical everyone is kind and knowledgeable. If they don’t know something they find out for you! I’ve had tinting done to my lenses and the tech showed me all of the options so I knew exactly what I was getting. They were enthusiastic from picking my frame to choosing the color of my lenses. Love this clinic!

I seriously love coming to Eyes On The City, and I was so glad when they started accepting my insurance. (My partner had been going for years before I was able to make the switch.) The entire staff is incredibly caring and super generous with their time. Dr. Loeppky is approachable, knowledgable and great to work with for my care. My partner and I have had the absolute pleasure of working with Jin to pick our next frames too, and JIN. IS. THE. BEST. They truly make the experience when it comes to the best part about going to the eye doctor - getting a new accessory. ;) They listen to your preferences, immediately know what works for your face shape, and clearly know how the glasses are supposed to fit. They know how to steer you through the overwhelming process of narrowing down all the options and can quickly (but thoughtfully) tell you why a pair is / isn't for you. Jin's been exceptional in both our visits, and we've left feeling confident and - most importantly - excited about the frames we picked. Of all my annual appointments, this is the one I look forward to the most because of how great everyone at Eyes On The City is!

We have been using Eyes on the City for our family since around 2011. I have appreciated many aspects of their care for clients. But if you have sensitivity to fragrances, steer clear of this clinical setting, it's not safe for you.

I had a last minute request for an appointment and they got me in very quickly for vision testing and a medical evaluation. Aaron at the front desk was so helpful and facilitated the release of my previous medical charts from 3 different offices and managed to collect them all within one business day. They are very responsive by phone/text message. The office is very clean, modern, and conveniently located. Dr. Tracy Lin and her assistant were super friendly and took their time to answer all my questions. All the staff made sure to make me feel welcome and my visit was not rushed in any way. I definitely recommend Eyes on the City for a caring and positive experience!

Incompetent and unethical business practices. I feel the need to warn my fellow Seattlites with less the perfect eyesight. Don't let the lovely location fool you. This shop is run by incompetence. I went in as a first time customer with high hopes but mostly because it was the closest shop listen by my insurance. I need glasses to distance and, thanks to the wonderful process of aging, also to read. Unfortunately I can't tolerate the mushroomy experience that multifocal lenses provide. I made that clear to both the doctor and the technician. They still up-sold me on "this new technology" that is going to work for me. I asked what they would do if the lenses didn't work for me. They reassure me that they would make it right. After a couple of weeks I got the glasses. I couldn't even leave the shop with them. Nothing was on focus. A different tech apologized and politely re-took the ocular measures noticing that they were wrongly measured and that, to make things worse the lens shop made a mistake as well. I waited another couple of weeks for the new lenses. Much better but still off center. I used the glasses for two weeks as they recommended and I decided that I could not deal with the fishbowl effect. For me it's mostly everything is out of focus and I have to search the sweet spot constantly. I felt noseous every day. They took the glasses in and ordered regular lenses. Once I got those back, I was expecting to get a refund for the difference. Multifocal are closer to 500 dollars and single focus are more like 200. They refused to make up for the difference. They refused to discuss it with me and referred me to a manager. I called the manager 3 time before getting a text message back say they they were busy. Finally today they emailed me refusing the refund. Wait, you are too busy to call me but you have the time to write me a long email to refuse the refund? Is this something they do on a daily basis? Do they have a template for this reply? Why is the manager so busy with these tasks? She had the time to reply to my second email and the third but she didn't have the time to call me? Do they use AI for these communications? How often do they deny refunds?! Is this pure incompetence or a business strategy? Be weary of this establishment they are more skilled at denying customers then they are at making glasses. Funny that they prefer to steal a couple hundred bucks rather then acquire a new loyal customer. If you need glasses, you'll need glasses for the rest of your life. They have the opportunity to make up for their mistakes 10 fold over the years. Especially in a city like Seattle were we love supporting local businesses. Final note, they have a very limited selection of frames and most of them are outdated and out of style. I provided my own. This is the temu of Seattle glasses shops with prices not to match their low quality and incompetence -- PS: Reply to the owner: thank you for your answer to my review. You very well know that I was very polite with all your staff. I am not surprised that you are adding slender to your palette of unethical practices. Good luck with your business.

My family has been going to Eyes on the City since 2013 for our eyecare. I've always been extremely satisfied with the quality of service we receive. This year I started treatments for my dry eyes. I just finished my 4th treatment and am extremely happy with the results. After the 1st treatment I could feel the difference and after the 4th treatment I feel I can skip a day without my heated compress or my fish oil and I don't feel any ramifications. Where as before treatment if I skipped a day of either, I was putting in eye drops repeatedly through out the day. Now I only put eye gel at night because I use a CPAP. I couldn't be more pleased with this process. Everyone throughout the 4 treatments have been very kind and helpful.

This is one of my favorite eye clinics. Beautiful and clean location, and I love that it's a short walk from Greenlake. Everyone I've met who works here is professional and friendly so I feel comfortable explaining my needs and getting advice. The clinic manager Brenna is awesome and takes time to explain any billing and logistics questions when I ask. Love coming here and wish I could get new glasses every month!

I had the pleasure of purchasing my new set of glasses from Eyes on the City. It was truly a great experience, largely because of Jennifer, my optician who was patient, knowledgeable and wanted me to have the glasses I would be most happy with! I must have tried on over 40 glasses ! Yet she was patient and very helpful! I would definitely recommend Eyes on the City and of course, Jennifer who made my experience super enjoyable !

I have been a customer for years and have spent a nonsignificant amount of money on eye appointments, glasses and contacts. This year I again ordered contacts from them, however a few days before my new shipment was supposed to arrive I started to run low (we are talking like 2-3 days). I went in to ask if they wouldn't mind giving me a trial pack of contacts to tide me over until my new supply arrived and the clinic manager refused to do this. This was absurd. They obviously do not care about retaining their customers. Highly recommend you go to a different optometrist/optometry office, hopefully one that is a little more understanding and generous with their patients.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience!! This was my first time back at the eye doctor in 10 years and I was clueless. Doctor Loeppky was so knowledgeable and helpful. She walked me through every step of the process and helped me understand what was going on with my vision. Jin helped me find the perfect pair of glasses. I have a huge head and wide face and was hesitant of the process but it went super smooth and I feel great about my choice!
