I just had my lenses remade at Eyes Unique for a fraction of the cost than at Lens Crafters. I had been quoted about $250 at Lens Crafters at Warwick Mall, but Jim at Eyes Unique made and installed my lenses for $69. The service was great and it couldn't have been easier. I'll never go to one of those big box opticians again. I guess the extra money at Lens Crafters goes for the beautiful store at the mall. Eyes Unique looks a little worn by comparison, but I'll keep coming back.

The owner was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. My glasses broke and he was able to put my lenses in new frames to 'hold me over' until I could get a new pair. He did so at no charge and could not have been kinder. You don't see this kind of service in very many businesses - I guess that's why he's 'unique'!

The owner goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that you are satisfied with the work. He is really a class act and it is great to have such a wonderful business in the city.

I contacted Eyes Unique and spoke with Jim regarding a broken string on my frame. Jim told me to bring them in. When I met Jim, he was very courteous, professional, and repaired the frame within an hour. The cost for performing the repair was waived by Jim. In this respect, there are not many people who would follow such principles. We would highly recommend Eyes Unique to everyone seeking an honest optician and accommodating everyone. thank you very much Jim.

Always treated fairly, very reasonable pricing and a great variety. The storefront is nothing fancy but I’m sure that attributes to the great pricing. I highly recommend Jim and Eyes Unique.

I was unable to climb the steps. I called the owner and he came right out! What a nice professional. This is my fourth visit and everyone asks where I got my frames. I do love sparkle!

I have been going to Eyes Unique since he opened his store over 25 years ago. Jim is by far the best in the business! His quality is top notch, his personalized customer service is superb and he has the best prices on all the latest styles. If I ever have an issue (usually my fault too) with the frames or lenses he is quick to help tighten them or fix whatever they might need. And he is overall a great guy that I like giving my hard earned money to instead of those pushy chains or the ridiculously expensive choices at the doctor's office . Five stars aren't enough for Eyes Unique!

I have been going here for years. Jim is wonderful. The prices are very fair. He does not overcharge. Customer Service is superb and he goes above and beyond. Anytime my frame screws loosen or fall out, or on the rate occasion my lens pops out (because i dropped my glasses) he takes care of the problem and treats me like I am a paying customer-he provides this repair service at no charge. He is a small business in my local area and I support small and local. It is the best way to shop. This is going in under my husband David's name but the writer is his wife, Helene.

I've ordered at least a half dozen pairs of prescription glasses and sunglasses over the last 10 years or so from Eyes Unique. Jim is extremely fast, the quality is great, and I have no idea how he's able to charge the prices he does. Highly recommended.

He has a spectacular selection of frames, and an expert eye at suggesting which frames look best with your face shape. I chose this shop based on its 5-star reviews and called ahead to confirm I could get a frame fitting. Though I was told over the phone to come in anytime, the in-person experience was a complete waste of time. When I arrived, the gentleman seemed confused and eventually asked if I intended to buy my glasses online. When I expressed uncertainty, he flat-out refused to help, stating, 'Why would I do that when you’re just going to buy them online?' Even more frustratingly, he told me I should go see 'a Doctor' for a fitting instead. It is a shame he chose to make assumptions about me rather than treating me like a valued customer; had I found a pair I liked in-store, I would have gladly purchased them there. The only redeeming quality was that the shop smelled nice, but the service was extremely unhelpful. Try another shop if you care about customer service
