I highly recommend Eyesight Hawaii. The staff is pleasant, helpful and friendly. Dr. Olkowski is very professional and has good "hands." He explains everything and is very efficient with his work. I would also recommend trying thr Nu Lids Dry Eyes device. I've been using Restasis eye drops for years with mixed results. I can attest that Nu Lids is a better and longer lasting solution since I no longer need to carry a tube of Restasis on my 12 hour shift. My eyes seem to be producing more oily tears and I only need to scrubs my eyelashes after I brush my teeth in the morning. Try 'em!

Kristin Hirabayashi is highly informative She explained everything well; was patient with me and my anxiety. She took the time to answer all my questions in a way that made sense to me. Eyesight Hawaii is an excellent place to take care of your eye and vision health needs. I opted to have my PRK procedure there with Dr. Olkowski. I saw the number of excellent reviews Eyesight Hawaii had and heard endorsements for them on local Honolulu radio. I received an excellent discount through VSP insurance, and the final price included all pre and post-operative care. Dr. Olkowski and the rest of the Eyesight Hawai staff took excellent care to make sure everything was just right during the process. I can't imagine finding a better value for laser vision correction anywhere else in Hawaii. I even had a slight issue where my bandage lens came off my eye a day early (my bad for looking at screens too much post-op) and Dr. Olkowski took my call after hours to make sure I took the appropriate steps to address the issue. I achieved 20/20 vision a month-and-a-half post-op (full vision adjustment for PRK takes a bit longer than LASIK, and the staff educated me on all of the necessary ins and outs of my procedure). The care that Dr. Olkowski and the staff at Eyesight Hawaii provided was very thorough and of the highest quality. I highly recommend them to anyone considering laser vision correction and comprehensive eye and vision care in Hawaii.
