I visited Saratoga Ophthalmology and am so pleased that I did. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, caring, intelligent, and courteous. The reception staff, technicians and doctors all treated me like I had been a patient there for years, when in fact, this was my first visit. I would highly recommend Saratoga Ophthalmology.

Incredibly kind staff and a great selection of Eyewear. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. Will recommend to family and friends.

I recently moved to this area…I have been getting eye exams for 64 years.. normal eye exams for contact lenses/glasses… I didn’t know who to choose here… after much research I chose Saratoga Ophthalmology in Malta… Now i can say I have had the best eye exams I have ever had!… i feel completely comfortable with the entire procedure I’ve experienced at this office… Dr Caruso and his staff have been professional, pleasant and caring… the entire office has been great… a special acknowledgment has to go to the front desk who are the first to greet when you arrive… thank you and a “shout out” to Julie and “Momma Bear” Pat!!! They helped set the opening tone by accepting my silly/friendly banter with them when I arrived… gracias mis amigas!! Buen día!😁

I became a patient with Saratoga Opthamology about 3 years ago and have been very happy with the quality of the doctors and staff there. The practice where I went previously I was always there at least 3 hours for a typical appointment. Here, I am usually in and out within an hour or so, even with the required testing. I even purchased my new eyeglasses there, which was something that I had never done before. The whole experience was fantastic and I highly recommend Saratoga Opthamology!

Came into this office with severe eye problems. Actually blind in left eye. Ended up being a problem that stemmed from years ago. An in-office surgery and meds resolved issues and now eyesight is better than ever. Nice people throughout the entire process. Wonderful ending. Thank you Dr. Hussnain and staff for all you accomplished!

Five stars is not nearly enough to convey the absolute treasure Saratoga ophthalmology is. From the start the staff was nothing but exemplary, everyone was kind and considerate and had a happy demeanor whenever I spoke to them. Your first steps into an office are often a good impression of how your visit will be. When I walked in I was warmly greeted by the front desk manager Shelly who had me registered and ready to go in no time. As I sat waiting for the appointment I had the pleasure of meeting the executive director Tal who took time out of his busy schedule to greet all of us and see if we needed anything. When it was time for the appointment I was greeted by some lovely technicians who took the time to listen to my story for why I was in need of their services. After I went through the usual process of giving my history to them they introduced me to the doctors who were beyond anything I could have hoped for. Not only were they kind, caring and very knowledgeable but they were also patient with me and answered all of my questions. They took me step by step through the treatment plan they had made for me explaining why we needed to do things a certain way and how everything would work. As I said five stars is not anywhere near enough for the staff of EyesNY and Saratoga ophthalmology if I could I would give them 1,000 stars because they deserve that and so much more. I will happily and enthusiastically be continuing to go there for years to come.

My patient experience was awesome at Saratoga Ophthalmology. My exam was the most comprehensive that I’ve ever had. I appreciated hearing that my diagnosis could be treated with a significant prescription change vs surgery as the only immediate option. The providers here are the Rock Stars of the vision world.

To leave a review for Saratoga ophthalmology- This is for both Malta and Clifton Park offices. I had an emergency issue with getting a contact lens stuck underneath my eyelid and it was very painful. Even though the office at Clifton Park was closed, Anna let me in and called the Malta office so that I could get an appointment immediately. The Malta office then called me right away and got me in within an hour. All of these doctors and assistants went above and beyond to make this customer one for life. Thank you everybody for everything. Best experience with medical offices I have had since moving here recently from Utah.

We spent over 2 hours here. An hour and a half before even seeing a dr. The dr told me after looking at my kids eyes for a minute that “she’s imagining the spot” and “people with epilepsy get depressed” and “see things”. I’m horrified. I told him if he didn’t know what was wrong with her vision then just say that, don’t say she’s imagining this or is depressed?!? He finally said ok I don’t know what it is. So incredibly unprofessional. He also would not stop talking over me, I could barely get a word in, he seemed to not even be listening, as well as appearing rushed. Worst experience at this place.

FOLLOW UP TO SUGGESTION. Please put a table or hook in bathroom for personal belongings so they don't have to be put on the dirty and possible wet floor. Retrieving them can be very …

Very professional and efficient office. From the receptionists to the Doctors and all of the assistants everyone is welcoming, polite, professional and caring. I have been there several times and each time I am impressed. I highly recommend Saratoga Ophthalmology to anyone who cares about the health of their eyes.

I got referred here and after spending less than 2 minutes with the doctor I was dismissed and left with a near $600 bill. They refused to answer the phone or any message I have left, and refused to charge my insurance. Just proving once …

Dr.Hammad is an exceptional physician , great expertise , dedicated to his patients and profession , very caring , always positive , loved by his patients and peers . His staff is very professional , greeting you with a smile and always available for question or accommodation .

***** 10/01/25, Update: Tal (Office Mgr.) called. Spoke with him for 10- 15 mins. Got everything cleared up. My Dr had 2 emergencies to deal with on a busy day already. I didn't know that. Tal offered to check on my next appt to make sure I'm good to come in and have a speedy appt. He went above and beyond to make it right. Thank you Tal. Very appreciated. (Dr and staff were pleasant and once they got to me, tests and exam were quick). ***** 09/12/25- Got to appt by 1:05p. Appt was for 1;10p. Did the pre-register thing. I had two eye tests that took 20 minutes and then sat for over an hour waiting for the DR. (Now I understand the drops need time to work, but part of the test I had, took up some of that time). I mentioned how aggravating it was. The Dr apologized for. the wait. (Did she really care? I don't know. Maybe). I left there at almost 3 o'clock! Ridiculous for 30 mins time!

My mom has been to see Dr. Rheeman several times now. He’s an incredible doctor who truly cares about his patients. The staff are always very pleasant and professional. We hope we can continue to receive care at this practice. We feel lucky to have found Dr. Rheeman.

Love all the staff here! I've seen both Dr. Rheeman and Dr. Zhang and had great experiences each time. They are professional, attentive listeners, and it's clear they are passionate about what they do!

**Update! Today I was in the office and Pat helped me out so much! She was amazing! Thank you so much for all you guys do in your practice!** The people in this office are amazing. I don't even get to the counter to check in and they already have things ready and tell me that I'm set to go. I see Doctor Hammad at this office and he is literally a life saver. I had to go in to repair a detached retina. During the surgery he spotted a tumor, which turned out to be cancer. It is a very rare form of cancer, and he fought to get me into the best hospital which was in Pennsylvania. I've had to have about 6 or 7 surgeries to treat this and I couldn't ask for a better doctor. Dr. Hammad has a great bedside manner, and gives it to you straight. I would recommend Dr. Hammad to anyone that has eye issues, he will make sure that you are getting the best treatment possible. If there were more stars, I would give him a 10!

If you need to take care of your cataract, do it! because it’s well worth it. But don’t add any extra procedure because you think you can see better, and pay extra money to see 6-10” closer. You will end up wearing glasses for close up. So $2500 each eye is not worth it!! So save your money and only do the insurance coverage.

Dr. Sun and Dr. Caruso are exceptional, both in practice and bedside manner. Dr. Sun tended to my post-op retinal surgery, and Dr. Caruso gave me a thorough eye exam, which was overdue I highly recommended both of them.

The office staff is personable and kind. Dr. Rheeman made me feel comfortable about my visit. I highly recommend this office.

Took my mom here while visiting to see an eye specialist. She received amazing care and it was clear they not only have experts in their field but really care about their patients. Staff was very welcoming and made her feel at ease. Can't recommend enough!

Dr Campbell removed my cataracts and fixed my glaucoma in the same surgery. I am very pleased with the outcome. I have 20/20 vision and my glaucoma is fixed. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Hammad got me in right away and his staff was so friendly and helpful! I have type 1 diabetes and he educated me about my eye health more than my endocrinologist did! Highly recommend him and his staff!

UPDATE: the weirdness continues. Why would I get this letter certified mail early on a Saturday morning when I already said I wouldn’t go back… just so frigging weird… Weird office vibes. I walked in and the two receptionists look up and start laughing. Then the two people sitting behind them look up at me. I say nothing, and just think that maybe I walked into something weird? But at checkout, the guy looks up at me and starts laughing. Literally came home to check myself out and see what was going on. The tech was so rough, pushing my face to get me into position instead of just telling me where she wanted my chin to go. Only reason for a two stars is because Dr Campbell was good. But not a place I’d go back to.

Initially, I had a bit of a challenge getting my first appointment scheduled, however, the office manager, Taleb, was very helpful in reaching out to me directly to assist. I met with Dr. Caruso and had a great experience. He was very thorough in his exam and very patient and comprehensive in his explanation of the results. The staff in the Clifton Park location were friendly and professional. This was a excellent experience.

I take my mother in law here. The front desk staff are always accommodating when making appointments even with people who miss or cancel appointments at the last minute. They are cheerful while doing it. As for the medical care it seems good although I'm not the one getting injections in their eye.

Dr. Brett Campbell is an excellent doctor. He explained everything about my eyes in “normal terminology” I have complete confidence in him. Excellent manners and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns.

Dr. Zhang is wonderful! She is thorough, professional, knowledgeable, has great communication skills and always takes the time to understand my concerns. Highly recommend!

Terrible experience with Dr. Hammad. Went to one appointment where he said my eye was fine just work on some stuff. Next appointment he saying my eye is in very bad shape. I remind him what he said …
