I feel so blessed that Dr. Carey Patrick is here in Allen to serve and support our community. I've been a patient of hers for over 10 years now and am so grateful for the high level of care and attention I continue to receive from her and her team.
She has helped me and my family throughout the years with vision problems, eye infections, and eye injuries. I wouldn't trust our eye care to anyone else.
Reasons I love this practice:
- Dr. Patrick works tirelessly for her patients and is committed to providing excellent care based on the latest research in optometry.
- Dr. Patrick has a great bedside manner and truly takes the time to listen to your concerns and provide solutions to improve your vision.
- Her practice offers retinal imaging scans which is important to me for early detection of disease.
- Her practice offers a range of contacts that support my unique needs.
- Her team is dedicated to providing a great patient experience from start to finish.

This establishemnt needs to check their own eyes before accepting patients to check patients eyes. They are unable to see/read the time on the clock/watch. After waiting 50 min for appointment , when I confronted them, they said “there’s an emergency” .. But in reality NO one was walking or running around with a bleeding eye or a missing eye and place was empty. We walked out and googled sitting in car and found America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses @ 170 E Stacy Road and called them up. They took us in RIGHT AWAY and we saw the doctor who was SUPER knowledgeable and cooler than what I have been experiencing at the other place. I am SO HAPPY to make the switch and I hope they don’t waste other patients time like they did mine.

I would highly suggest going elsewhere. My overall experience was absolutely terrible. The doctor got my daughter’s prescription wrong. Instead of being helpful they blamed her for it. I finally talked them into redoing her exam, which they did but not without making things so awkward. As if it’s our fault they didn’t do the exam correctly. We had already had glasses made with the incorrect prescription and they told us to take it up with the eyeglass maker, not offering to right their wrong at all. Thankfully we got the glasses made at a place with EXCELLENT customer service, which obviously wasn’t Fairview EyeCare. Don’t waste your time with Fairview EyeCare. There are plenty of other places that have great customer service.
