Just had my first visit here, and the Dr was exceptional, the staff was very nice and I was able to get in and out with out much waiting. I recommend them to my best of friends and family!

Came in here an hour before they were going close. I was just going to schedule an eye exam didn't expect to be able to have same day service. Dr. Ngo was quick, easy to talk to, and answered all my questions. Will definitely return; hard to find a doctor that you can talk to. Nothing worst than a doctor that talks in that monotone voice and has no passion in their job.

We really like this optometrist place. Dr. Ngo is very friendly and his staffs so nice to my kids.. they love to come her for their eyes check up and get new glasses. He has so much variety glasses to pick. My kids can wait to have their eye check every years. Every time they go their the are so happy because the can see clearer and get new cool looking glasses

After struggling to find an optometrist that accepted Medi-Cal/Molina for my brother's vision needs, we finally came across doctor Ngo's office. Other places wanted to make us wait one month for an appointment! This office told me they would accept our walk-in when I called ahead of time, and their service was excellent! The receptionist was kind and professional, while Dr Ngo was very kind and attentive. Had my brother's medical covered glasses in 2 weeks and we paid nothing out of pocket. Will definitely be returning for our eye care needs! 100% recommend this place.

Always has the latest in the Brand's he supplies and yourself are always friendly and professional they tell you exactly what you're going to pay no BS I've been going there for now 5 years I will be going back to him again and again and again and again and again

It's been almost a month and no call from them if my prescription glasses is ready. Called them and they said they forgot to place my order.

I would NOT recommend this place AT ALL ... I’ve now been waiting on my glasses for 4 months &&’ every time that I’ve called they kept sayin they’re taking longer than usual because they closed down for 2 weeks so they can’t say when my glasses will be done .. the one time I called I was more so rude &&’ demanded I needed my glasses due to the fact I can’t see at night &&’ need them in order to drive ... they then said that they would be ready at then end of this month .. it’s NOW the end of the month &&’ they don’t know when they’ll be ready ... they close whenever they want to leaving the customers waiting on something that they really need for months , their service is terrible .. please .. if you can find another place to go to DO IT ... because had I known what I know now I wouldn’t of even went there .. by the way .. I’ve been told from someone else that they did this to them too &&’ that it’s not the first time they’ve done this . It’s what they do .

It’s been two months since my kid got her eyes check there still no glasses they keep changing it 10 weeks seven weeks 14 weeks none of them can keep the story straight they shouldn’t be excepting patients if they can’t get glasses that’s a horrible way to run a business DONT EVER COME HERE if they can’t get the glasses why are they even open

I have been a loyal patient for five-plus years. Dr. Ngo is professional and knowledgeable, and he knows exactly what you need. I go to both locations every six months for my contacts and glasses.

There was a subtle sense of control and reassurance throughout the visit. Each step was explained just enough to reduce uncertainty, without overwhelming detail. The process seemed designed not only to measure vision, but to maintain patient comfort and trust.

Don’t be tripped by the lunch closure sign, they can close at any time for hours. Today was the third day driving 20 miles one way to pick up my dad’s glasses, but they were close on a different time for lunch. Let’s see if I would ever be able to catch them. NEVER answers call and NEVER returns calls.

Horrible customer service! I’ve purchased my eye glasses there and asked her to adjust them since they were to loose. She said that they weren’t loose that it’s supposed to be like that. The doctor is disrespectful and won’t even acknowledge you. Won’t ever go back to that dump again.

I got a prescription glasses from here, and I'm not sure why, but they failed me after a few months. The lenses were defective I guess.

They are fast but the frames medical covers here are limited.

Its been abt 7 months and I still haven’t received a call To tell me my glasses are ready, no no no very unprofessional :/

Great service. Fast, effective and honest. a small gem in the chaos of South Sacramento. They take insurance and have a pretty flexible schedule. Can't wait till my glasses come in!

They are hardly ever available. They take forever to get back to you when your contacts come in or glasses. And it feels like they are constantly at lunch!

Original appointment was with Absolute Family eyecare in west sac..... no one told us when the appointment was set that the business had CLOSED DOWN and relocated 20 minutes away and changed the name to Family eyecare of sac town. Called business and asked the receptionist to hold one sec while I merged the call on hold to verify address and location plus appointment but she just hung up the phone. Wouldn't recommend based off the difficulty simply trying to find the place and speak to someone who cared about the inaccuracies in the addresses.

Took my mom and sister here for eye exams for prescription glasses. The guy didn't even pay attention to the exams and rushed them through with so much inaccuracy. The eye glasses are pretty much useless. What a joke, what scam artist. Walmart optometrist does a better job than this guy.

Place is always closed

I give 0 star for this business. Waited for almost 3 months to get a pair of glasses that i am not able to see through them comfortably. I have been wearing glasses since i was little, so i know exactly how it feels like to have a right nice pair of glasses with clear vision. They said they have fixed and changed the lenses but NO THEY DID NOT. All LIES. Seriously. Because if they did. I wouldn't have to come back 3 times to get them fixed.

The doctor took his time with me and my child he knows what he’s doing.

No way, the guy who worked there rushed through the exams! He also interrupted me MANY TIMES. I have a sensitive heart, so I cried when I got back home. Plus, they don't even answer calls if that wasn't bad enough. I do NOT recommend this place AT. ALL.

My Nike Glasses fell off when I was playing a pick up game in basketball and it has lots of scratches on the lens and frame

I get there for pick up at 1:35pm the door was locked but the lady was works inside as soon as she saw me she hid behind the table and didn’t open the door if there was 0 I was prefer for her

There is not a long wait time and the doctor is really cool I highly recommend.

Don't be fooled. I'm surprised this place is still in business. They NEVER answer the phone and they're hardly ever open . Gives scam vibes.
