LOVEEE THIS PLACE. Ive been coming here for 5 years and not once has it been a bad experience. Dr. Carole Hong and her crew are one of the few remaining eye clinics that actually care about their patients. They will not over sell you on any procedures that is not needed. My favorite thing about Dr. Carole Hong she does not rush her appointments, takes her time until she has the right adjustment for your eyes. Im a patient for life

DR Hong was very calm and very patient with my special needs daughter, who was not fully cooperative with the eye testings. DR Hong did not hurry us and took time to explain what she found on each eye. We apprecaite you!

I had a great experience at Family Vision Care. Dr. Kim gave me a very informative explanation about my current overall eyes health and how to take care of it.

Dr. Cynthia Huang performed my first ever eye exam. Very detailed examination, high tech equipments and friendly staff. Special thanks to Bonnie Petit, Director of Optical for helping me choose my glasses. She skipped her lunch and patiently helped me out.

These people are amazing. I got therapy that helped me overcome the effects of a concussion. There were lots of kids there getting vision therapy for learning ability issues. All of them seem to think of it as play time, not work. I got a prescription for glasses that actually worked to support the healing process. Lots of great choices on frames.

If you’re in the market for a new eye doctor, this is the place to go. 10/10 would recommend! They take really good care of you with very patient and knowledgeable staff members. I had a ton of questions coming in and they took their time answering each one. I felt very happy at the end of my appointment.

I wish all doctors are like Dr Hong. She is brilliant, thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. I have issues with my vision affecting Balance. what can I say, I am so grateful for this office! they are the best at what they do, They Have been doing vision therapy for a long time, they have all the top of the line gadgets. They have a huge supply of trial lenses. They have brought on more skilled optometrists to the team who are highly educated. Every time I come here, it’s a pleasure, I would say it’s the most informative medical appointment I have. The front desk staff is always helpful and kind. Even though it’s more than an hour drive for me, it is well worth it. even my husband, who’s never been to the optometrist wants to schedule an appointment here after he accompanied me. give them a try, you won’t regret it.

When I came in to get my contact lens prescription renewed, they told me I could also bring in my baby (12 months) for his free infant eye exam. I figured why not. I'm so glad I did! The doctor (Dr. Jen Lam) was lovely with him and he had a great time - she managed to assess his ability to notice shapes and assess his optic nerve (I believe?) just by observing while he played, while also communicating with me. She was not fazed when he behaves like a typical baby. Clearly she had done this many times. Glad I found this place!

Dr Carole Hong and her team are all amazing. I’ve been going to her for glasses, eye exams, and contacts for years. I love the selection of glass frames and if the prescription doesn’t feel right, she and her team will work with you to figure out the correction. And I brought my little baby to her for their first eye exam at 12months and she was wonderful with them!

This review is so long overdue. I’ve been seeing Dr. Hong at Family Vision Care and Vision Therapy for as long as I can remember. Dr Hong and EVERYONE in her office is absolutely fantastic! Dr. Hong is incredibly thorough, takes her time during each appointment, and explains everything in a way that’s really easy to understand. It is evident that she cares about her patients and is truly dedicated to providing the highest level of care. From earlier experiences with them mending my son's glasses to our current experience seeing Dr. Lam, they have been so helpful and kind. I have been with family vision care (family of four) since the pandemic closed optical center atFacebook campus. I have been extremely satisfied in the past 4 years, but my latest experience with optical services made this the last time I am a patient here. On Wednesday, I finished my exam with dr lam and proceeded to get sun glasses. Initially, I picked out a pair that would have been good for my son and was told by optical tech, Yvonne, that she is unable to sell me the pair because the policy doesn’t me to purchase a pair that doesn’t fit me. I moved on to other pairs. All pairs I picked came back with a higher price than label. One of the pairs I picked is a one size fits all pair for motor sports and Yvonne refused to sell it to me because “it did not fit me, obviously biased due to my earlier misunderstanding of the policy. The whole process was uncomfortable and incredibly unpleasant as she not only had a different price but aims to deter me from buying a set that potentially didn’t fit me. It made me, a customer, felt like I am at her disposal. It also wasted a lot of my time in my busy schedule.

Dr. Hong and her team have taken care of my family's vision needs for 15+ years and we can't recommend her practice highly enough. As one of the most experienced optometrists in the Bay Area, Dr. Hong cares deeply about every one of her patients and is passionate about providing the best care possible. The front office staff is friendly, professional and efficient. They will go out of their way to answer your questions and make you feel that your business is truly valued. I was in town earlier this week and needed to get my glasses fixed. I found this place and am so glad I did. I thought my glasses were beyond repair, but MC was a lifesaver She did an amazing job helping me. My glasses were fixed and even fit better than when I first got them. She was incredibly kind and professional, and her skills saved me from being unable to see the rest of my trip. Can’t recommend enough!!!

Dr. Hong is amazing. Couldn't recommend her more. And the team from optics to everything else is amazing too. - I honestly haven't seen this well in years. My garden looks amazing! - Computer glasses recommendation was a game changer for me. - I would add that my initial prescription for the computer didn't work for me, Dr. Hong just took me back, adjusted things, and it went from difficult to amazing! Highly recommended. :)

I had a great experience. They are very professional and friendly. There was no rush to get me out the door and the optometrist took the time to explain the details of what she was doing and how to interpret the test results and photographs. The optician was low key and helped me pick out what I wanted She made sure that key measurements were checked a few different ways so that mistakes (glasses that aren't right) are unlikely . I haven't got my glasses yet, but I have full faith in them.

Love this office. Was having contact problems Dr Hong was not available but her colleague Dr Caul was able to see me right away. She was able to quickly diagnose that my stigmatism had gotten worse and needed new contacts. They had samples for me to try in the office and I could tell immediately my eyes were much better. Lily at the front desk ask numerous question prior to my appointment and had back up contacts ready to go if I needed them. Love the professionalism of this office.

Really wonderful optometrists, vision therapists and support (with fun glasses choices, and the help I got learning how to put in contacts was amazing). They looked at my eyes and prescription in ways no one else has. For years I’d come back to an optometrist within a couple months wondering why my glasses weren’t helping. Now I’ve finally got prescriptions that work for my vision in different situations. I have so many fewer headaches and eye strain. Awesome practice!

Dr Veronica was great, but optician and admin staff are incompetent. The optician kept on forgetting to apply charges to my visit so I ended up swiping my card 3-4 times. Even so, the charges are confusing, I don’t trust what he charged me so I contacted someone to review with me. Mind you, their email never works, and phones are unanswered. I think I need to go there in person to get helped. I was desperate in finding a vision place near work but never again. Stay away as one review indicated.

I've came to Family Vision Care since I was a kid and I have always had good experiences here. From navigating the challenges of getting my first glasses to still helping me in college with my contact lenses, there's never been a time where I felt as if my problem didn't get fixed. Highly recommend for anyone.

I came to get a comprehensive eye exam a couple of weeks ago and I really felt the need to come and write a review due to the great care and service I received. The doctor, opticians and anyone who was part of my exam put forth the utmost professionalism from the start of the exam until the end when I received my glasses.
