This place was great! We were able to book a same-day appointment because they had a cancelation, and the staff were amazing. Dr. Cates was hilarious, he made my daughter laugh from the minute he walked through the door

I am a graduate student (Physics--Quantum Optics, Ph.D.) at the University of Oregon. At various times since I joined the graduate program, people have asked "where is the best place in Eugene to buy a new pair of glasses?" For your future reference, I have your answer: “Family Vision Center,” 1471 Pearl St. Yesterday evening, my glasses fell off of the small table by my bedside onto my floor. This bent the frame, thereby rendering my glasses useless. The lenses themselves were fine (because I have a carpet floor in my apartment). I bought a pair of glasses from them almost a year ago (I picked them up on 4/20 last year). I brought them in today, whereupon the technician Ivan (EE-von; an Eastern European pronunciation) replaced the frame with a brand new one free of charge! The list price for the frame is almost $300, but he didn’t mention payment even once! Now that is what I call a five-star service job! I cannot recommend Family Vision Center highly enough!!

Family Vision Center is polight, curtious and all around a wonderful establishment. I saw Dr. Dunk and she, as well as her support technician (Allie) where kind, thoughtful, empahtic people. I could not have hoped for a better visit! I will sing their praise to anyone in search of new eye care support. As well as eye exams with an eye prescription being covered by OHP now for all adults! The glasses were a bit expensive but you can always take your presciption to another more affordable location if paying out of pocket. Overall the best experiance, would rate 10/10!
