When you sit 10+ hours a day staring a computer screen or phone, you gotta get your eyes checked. Came here on a Saturday around noon without an appointment and was warmly greeted by the front desk. There’s a parking lot in front so it’s easy to park, and there’s a Yelp check-in deal too. They took my insurance (VSP), but also take EyeMed, Spectera, Davis Vision, Cigna etc. There’s a little waiting area in the front,, and there’s a little kids section with toys to play with while they wait. It was a short wait after you fill out the form, and they did my pre-test with that machine that blows into your eye and where you look at the balloon. Dr. Cheung did my contact lens exam and my glasses fitting, and was very friendly and helpful. He made sure to clearly explain what I needed to do during the tests and was transparent on pricing. There’s a lot of nice glasses and sunglasses options (esp. the Tom Ford ones). There’s a gender neutral bathroom available that’s ADA accessible. The office space is clean and spacious, and the decor is well done. Special shout out to Elizabeth for being so warm and welcoming on my first visit. She was also very knowledgeable and answered all my preliminary questions. Overall, it’s a great option for an optometrist for those in the West Covina/Walnut/City of Industry area. They speak Chinese, Tagalog, Spanish, and Bisaya fluently as well, so it’s very accessible for a multitude of people. Thanks for the exam, and see you next year, Dr. Cheung & team!
